Tossing Salt Presents:
The Hot Seat Discussion
November 4, 2018
One of my favorite groups on Facebook of which I am a member is called “The Hot Seat Discussion” and it definitely lives up to the name. Adults only conversation with some very interesting and amazing people. One of the big things about this group is that nothing is off limits and all topics are up for conversation, in a respectful adult manner of course. And of course, people like to ask questions. Here are the five most recent questions presented by the Hot Seat Powers-That-Be. And of course, I have the answers. Let’s do this…
Can a lady have sex with another guy and still love her man?
Absolutely. Love and sex are two totally different things and while the ideal situation is that one person gets it all, life isn’t always ideal and shit happens. People have reasons and sometimes it’s just needing one thing from one person that the other can’t provide. So my answer is a definitive yes.
Name something a crackhead would try to sell you?
From personal experience, I know of tools, steaks, a TV, VCR’s, DVD’s, their kid’s toys, their kid’s bed, themselves, etc. When an addict is jonesing for that crack or coke or pill or whatever, nothing is off limits and they’ll sell whatever they can get or do whatever they have to do to get that fix and nothing that they try to sell or do will or can surprise me.
Should a man date if he is struggling with finances?
Absolutely. A date doesn’t have to cost a lot of money and finding some time for socializing and human interaction is necessary to keep stability and happiness in a life.
Do you have any goals for November?
Write often for the site, work as much as possible, cook a great meal for Thanksgiving and continue to improve my health and life in every way possible. Oh yeah, and find myself a great man.
If you could go back in time, would you (A) Do high school over (B) Change your baby mama / daddy or (C) Spend money differently?
Well I don’t have a baby mama / baby daddy to worry about so (B) is out of the running. My question for this is if I re-do high school, do I go in knowing what I know now or not. If that was the case, I’d definitely go for Option A because my life afterwards into adulthood would be different and I wouldn’t have to worry so much about everything else. If I go back a blank slate and would pretty much end up making the same mistakes I did before, I’ll go with (C) because if I hadn’t wasted so much money on people who used me and don’t pay money back, I’d be in pretty good financial shape right now or at least better off than I am now. So if I keep my current memories and mind, I do (A) and otherwise, it’s (C).
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Questions, comments and any thoughts welcome and appreciated. And with that, I’m out of here. It’s late and the bed is calling. Have a great one and I’ll holler at you later.
