Tossing Salt Presents:
AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen
Thoughts & Predictions
June 15, 2020
This Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite on TNT will feature Fight for the Fallen. Should I make some predictions? Of course, I should. Let’s do this…
AEW Champion Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage with Taz
It’ll be good to see Moxley back in action and I think Cage and he will have one hell of a great brawl. Will there be a title change? If it was up to me, a definite yes, but for some reason, people like Moxley and Cage has that brand new FTW Championship given to him by Taz. So will he become Brian Two-Belts? I think the odds are that Mox will keep his belt and this will continue for ways to come. The money is in the long feud. Look for a non-finish and a brawl for all with lots of DQ’s and other people getting involved.
Double-Disqualification – No Winner (Moxley retains his title)
TNT Champion Cody vs. Sonny Kiss
Sonny Kiss gets to represent all of the LBGQT community and challenge for the TNT Championship against Cody. And he gets to let all of us down as he gets pinned and squashed by the champ.
Winner and STILL TNT Champion: Cody
FTR vs. The Lucha Brothers
The greatest tag team in wrestling today against a couple of Mexican jumping beans. I’m kidding. I like the Lucha Brothers, but to be honest, I don’t think they’re actually brothers. This should be a fun match and interesting to watch the contrast in styles. Jim Cornette’s favorite team takes the win in a convincing and dominant fashion.
The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega vs. The Jurassic Express
As popular and good as Luchasaurus and The Twin Terrors are, do you really think they’re going to defeat three Vice Presidents of the company, their bosses? Really? Marko Stunt is going to pin Kenny Omega on national TV? *sighs* The Elite take home the big win.
Winners: The Elite (The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega)
And there you go. I’m sure there will be more matches tonight, but these are the ones that have been announced and the ones being used to promote the show. And those are my predictions. Any comments, thoughts, or questions, drop me a line. Enjoy the show tonight and take care of yourself. Stay safe and I’ll see you at the matches.
