Good morning and welcome to the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. It’s a packed column with lots of questions about a lot of stuff so let’s get busy, shall we? And away we go. Let’s do this.

So MJF was fired from the Inner Circle and has formed his own faction with FTR, Wardlow, Shawn Spears, and Tully Blanchard. Thoughts?

It’s a good swerve that no one seemed to see coming. I like the new Horseman-like faction with MJF, Wardlow, FTR, & Shawn Spears, managed by Tully Blanchard. And pitting this group against The Inner Circle with Jericho, Guevera, Jake Hagar, Santana, and Ortiz will make for some good matches and a lot of action for the foreseeable future. And maybe now we’ll even finally get that War Games style match that was planned for a few months ago, but never happened. I do kind of wonder what would have happened if The Circle had turned on Jericho & Sammy. How would the new group be explained then, but a few small holes in the logic are okay. I liked this swerve and I’m interested in seeing where it goes and what happens next.

What should MJF’s new faction be called?

With Tully, there will obviously be many Horseman references, so if it was up to me, I’d play on that and the sheer star-power of the group. It’s nothing short of an apocalypse so I’d go with that for the name. Tully, Arn, and the originals in the Horsemen were compared to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse so the next logical step would be just to call them Apocalypse. I realize that this is professional wrestling so logic isn’t usually anything we need to worry about, but it makes sense, at least to me. That would be my pick.

Christian challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW Championship looks like the plan. Good idea or not?

Sure, why the hell not. Christian is a great come-back story and has a ton of fans and I’m sure that he and Omega would have some great promos and matches so a program between the two? It works for me.

Molly Holly has been named as the first inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021. Who else would you like to see go in alongside Molly?

I’m very happy for Molly and glad to see her finally getting her due. Kudos to the WWE for finally getting one right. As for who else I’d like to see as part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021, how about The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette, Magnum TA, Jim Crockett Jr. (RIP), Ivan Koloff (RIP), Ken Shamrock, Terry Taylor, Shad Gaspard (for the Warrior Award), Cyndi Lauper & CM Punk.

Thoughts on Kevin Patrick as the new backstage interviewer for WWE?

Who? I’ve never heard of him before WWE made this announcement and I still don’t know or care about who he is. WWE should bring back Aiden English if they need a talented person for commentary, interviewing, and guess what? He can wrestle too. This new guy just has a Mike Adamle vibe about him to me. So he works for WWE now. So what?

Thoughts on the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship?

WWE and NXT have some very talented women in their company and I guess this is a natural evolution for the women to have a goal and something to aim for. I think it’s a good move for the company and maybe we can get a champion versus champion match with the Women’s Tag Team Champions of NXT taking on the ladies who hold the tag team title on the main roster. That could be fun.

Who is the better signing for AEW – Sting, Big Show, or Christian?

All three are good signings and will benefit the company in my opinion, but the best of the three? It’s not Big Show. I love me some Christian, but I think the biggest deal would be Sting. After all, it’s Sting. What more can a true wrestling fan want?

Who was the greatest referee or the most famous?

It would have to be, in my opinion, either Earl Hebner or Tommy Young, depending on what part of the country you lived in and whether you were a WWF fan or a fan of the NWA. But either would qualify as the best of the best.

Thoughts on Tyrus making his return to the ring as part of the NWA pay-per-view, NWA Back For The Attack?

The timing is interesting since Tyrus’s daytime job, as part of the Greg Gutfield show on Fox News, is moving to a Monday through Friday format, and between that and his show on FoxNation, how will the former Brodus Clay have time to fit in getting ready for some wrestling events as well. It’s not been announced as of yet whether he’ll be wrestling or will have a different role at the NWA show, but it doesn’t matter. I like Tyrus. He’s a smart guy and entertaining and it’ll be good to see him back in a wrestling environment. I’m happy for the man.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions about my answers here or anything at all, please feel free, and let’s talk for a bit. As for now, I’m out of here. Have a great night, take care of yourself and stay safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
