Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Hall Of Fame, WALTER, Legends House & More

Let’s talk a little about wrestling. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
I would be interested in knowing your opinion if the following wrestlers/personalities will ever be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame: Ole Anderson, Jim Crockett, Lex Luger, Dustin Rhodes, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, The Sandman, and Kevin Sullivan.
It’s quite a list you’ve presented, but let’s take a look and see.
Ole Anderson: Ole is probably a no. He had the chance and told the WWE to fuck off. So long as Ole is alive and breathing, it won’t happen. I could see WWE slipping The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Gene) in as part of their Legacy Inductees and they definitely deserve a spot in any wrestling Hall of Fame, but Ole hates Vince and the WWE so he’d probably protest any kind of induction while he’s alive and able.
Jim Crockett: I could see Crockett being put in as part of the Legacy Class at some point. Definitely well deserved.
Lex Luger: Lex is currently employed by the WWE as a motivational coach and consultant so I think this one is a pretty safe bet for some point down the road.
Dustin Rhodes: This one all depends on how AEW goes and the relationship of Dustin to that company. I think he’s still on relatively good terms with the company and Vince and didn’t burn any bridges during his last run with the company so when WWE is ready, if Dustin is contractually able, I think he’s pretty much a lock.
Tommy Dreamer: I know that he’s currently off-limits due to the Dark Side comments about Ric Flair, but I think that will blow over soon enough when the “Woke” idiots find something else to distract them. Dreamer worked as a wrestler and executive in ECW, WWE, and Impact and he’s definitely paid his dues and earned his spot. Dreamer is definitely going in.
Sabu: While he’s definitely deserving, for some reason my gut just says no. Maybe under a group induction, via the ECW Originals, but as a solo star? I just don’t see it happening.
The Sandman: Read what I wrote for Sabu. Wash, rinse, repeat. Deserves it, but probably not.
Kevin Sullivan: Definitely deserves it, but when all that cult stuff from Florida is figured into the picture, I can’t see a solo induction happening. Maybe as a Legacy Inductee, but that’s probably the only way.
Sammy Guevera is the new TNT Champion. Does he deserve it?
Sammy definitely deserves the honor. He’s been giving 150% for AEW since day one and is easily one of the most popular stars on the roster. I’m happy to finally see him wearing gold.
Would you like to see AEW bring in Tyler Breeze and Fandango?
While I would love to see Tyler Breeze and Johnny Curtis (Fandango) back in action again for a larger promotion, I don’t know if AEW is the place I’d choose. Both men are definitely talented, but with a roster so bloated and large right now, I’m afraid that they’d end up lost in the shuffle. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer before both men are wrestling regularly again and making headlines, but I think Impact, ROH, or maybe even MLW might work out as a better place right now.
Who was the better color commentator? Jesse Ventura or Jerry Lawler?
It’s a tough call since both were damn good at calling the action and being the heel commentators during their times on the mic, but who’s better? I think I have to go with Lawler on this one.
Kurt Angle versus Jack Brisco. Who wins?
Jack Brisco was one of the best wrestlers of his era and had an amateur background that few could compare to, but Kurt Angle won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken freakin’ neck. Angle wins.
Would you like to see a WWE Legends House, Season 2?
Does anyone even still remember the first Legend’s House on the WWE Network? I liked it and it was entertaining, albeit over scripted, but it was good TV. So all these years later, should there be a second season? Hell, go for it. I would say yes.
Do you think WALTER will be drafted to either RAW or Smackdown in the WWE draft?
He hasn’t been named as part of either roster as of last night (Monday), but I can definitely see him being worked into the scene on the main roster and being a presence there. Even WWE Creative couldn’t screw this one up. (Looks at Keith Lee). Never mind. Let’s keep him as part of NXT for a while longer. WALTER has big star and big money written all over him, but the timing has to be right. Let’s wait for the right time.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and stay safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
