It’s a short edition of a man named Casper asking questions and a man named Doug answering them. This comes from the Twitter page of Tyler Casper at @ghostly_host. Check him out, learn, laugh, and subscribe. And now, let’s answer a few questions.

What is something that motivates you?

It’s harder and harder each day to get started and get things done, but I’m still managing. As for the reason why and what motivates me, I would say that I have a few people that I know are in my corner and I do it for them. And I have doubters and I do it for them as well, in kind of an F-U way. I do it and keep on going because it’s what I do. What other reasons do I need?

Do you believe there is such a thing as “normal”?

How does that old saying go? What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly. There is no such thing as normal. Never has been nor ever will be.

What is your favorite saying that relates to money?

“Hey Big Man, let me hold a dollar!”. I’m sure that any John Boy & Billy fans will recognize that one.

Are you Street or book smart?

I’m not a big brain in either area, but I have a combination of knowledge, from both books and practical experience, that I’m not a total dummy either. Book smart? Yeah, in maths, English, and some history. Street smart? In dealing with people and handling life. So am I one or the other? I would say, “yes!”.

Does anyone know how to balance a checkbook anymore?

Though I don’t actually have a checkbook anymore, nor have I actually written a check in several years, I always did keep my checkbook balanced and carefully compared it to every receipt, bank statement, and other financial record for any kind of discrepancy. Most people today can’t add or subtract without a calculator, but all I needed was a pen, my checkbook, and the mind God gave me.

Do you try to pay your bills early, or just when you get the bill in the mail?

I know when they’re due and I know when I get paid. And I make sure they’re paid when it’s time.

Have you started Christmas shopping yet?

Truthfully, I’ll be surprised if I’m even celebrating Christmas this year. More likely, I’ll be in my safe place dealing with the challenges yet to come. But just in case, I have a few things in mind for some special people and I will be ordering them soon.

How do you feel about Halloween?

It’s the most wonderful day of the year… period!

What is one thing you’re thankful for?

The friends I’ve managed to acquire over the past years who are still here, still with me, and still find a way to love me even when I don’t really deserve it. You know who you are and thank you.

And these are from Twitter, but not Casper. I just saw them on my timeline and decided to add them here so I can answer them here.

Bonus Twitter Questions:

Why is the school shooting in Texas being ignored by the MSM?

Because it doesn’t fit the narrative that the mainstream media wants to tell. The shooter is a young, black male and since he’s already out on bail, they can’t use any of their regular arguments and use him as a way to promote racism, blame Trump, or paint gun owners as all being deranged lunatics. It doesn’t fit the story they want to tell so the press ignores it, as usual.

Can you explain to me how 38% of voters still think Biden is doing a great job?

I think those numbers are slightly inflated, but I’m sure that the polls were focused on primarily Democratic majority and liberal areas, college campuses, etc, to help score more positively for Biden. If it was truly random and honest poll-taking, his numbers wouldn’t be near that high. I can still see a hundred posts a day on Facebook and Twitter hating Trump, but posts supporting and bragging about Biden unless they’re from the politicians or Biden/Harris themselves, they are very rare and far between. No one supports Biden. It’s just that their deranged little brains still hate Trump that much.

How do you prefer your steak cooked?

Medium well.

Why are they so hyper concerned about scanty $600 transactions, if they only want to tax the rich?

It’s all about power and control and knowledge is power for the Democrats and powers-that-be in Washington. They want to know our every move, but what they do, we’re not supposed to be concerned or worry about. It’s none of our business. At least that’s how they see it. Just typical hypocrisy.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions, feel free and give me a shout. Until the next time, stay safe, stay good, stay free, and may the force be with you. I’ll see you on the other side.

Ubuntu!
