In a world that’s full of questions, it’s time to try to find a few answers and here, we do, for at least ten of them. Some of the questions are from my Twitter feed. Others are from the legendary Casper, @ghostly_host, an awesome guy that you should go check out on Twitter. And the answers, that’s just little old sexy beast me. Let’s do this.

What’s one thing your parents used to always say you’d “understand when you get older” that you finally understand?

It wasn’t the sex talk because my Mom’s way of discussing sex with me was to buy a book and leave it laying on my bed. True story. Luckily I had older friends and four older siblings to tell me what’s up so I didn’t need her book. I read it anyhow. I guess it was that everyone isn’t a good person and people will lie, use you, and take advantage if you’re too nice. It took a long time and many knives in the back and kicks to the soul for me to finally learn that.

Would you rather give or receive?

Give or receive what? It doesn’t really matter because I feel uncomfortable getting things, regardless of whatever they may be. What makes me happy is to make others happy, regardless of whatever I’m doing. I’m a giver by nature. It’s what I do.

What is the best thing to get for Christmas?

I don’t really care about material things. If I want something, I’ll get it myself or do without. And Christmas? I love it, but it’s far too focused on gifts and such. I just want people to have a moment free of stress, an actual good time, and be happy for a little bit with no worries. To see the people I love to smile and laugh and have a moment of pure happiness, that is the best thing for me to get for Christmas.

Would you accept a Thanksgiving invite if you were told you have to wear a mask?

Absolutely. I love me some good food and a mask, that I would probably conveniently wear down under my chin (malicious compliance) is a small price to pay. This fat boy loves to eat so I’ll do a slight compromise. Pass me some of that stuffing. Where are my deviled eggs at? Let’s munch!

What is your favorite animated series?

Cartoons are awesome and can get away with so much that “real shows” can not. When I was a kid, my favorites were the Bugs Bunny cartoons and the Super Friends. Now that I’m older, it’s Family Guy and occasionally South Park. Both shows fit my dark sense of humor and sarcastic outlook on things so well. Gotta love them.

What is your favorite cartoon from the ’50s?

Hell if I know? I wasn’t alive in the ’50s. I’m old, but I’m not that damn old. Hush Kenneth! Did they even have cartoons in the ’50s? I guess the early Looney Toons stuff and Popeye. Those are old too. I guess they were around that long ago. I don’t freaking know.

What does loyalty mean to you?

Loyalty is that you have my back when needed and won’t betray my trust. And I can do the same for you. It’s who I refer to every time I say “Ubuntu!” I am because we are. It refers to those who I know will always be there by my side, through good or bad. There aren’t many, but I’ve been blessed to have a few and they know who they are. It’s a bond, it’s a trust, and it’s when good or bad, it’s truth. And there you go.

Would you ever commit a crime in the name of love?

People do stupid things when they’re in love and yes, I have done many stupid things in the past because I thought I was in love and the love was being returned. It wasn’t. So have I ever done anything illegal in the name of love? Yes? Would I do it again? I’m a lot older, more cynical, and a bit wiser now, so my answer would be… maybe? It depends on the love and the criminal act involved.

What is your greatest weakness?

Trusting people and being too nice. But that big heart is also at times, my greatest strength so I can’t really complain too much. I just had to learn to look with my eyes and ears instead of letting the heart or emotions take control. Once I figured out that I can be nice and giving, but still say no when necessary, things got much better.

Do you have any New Year’s resolutions ready for 2022?

I haven’t really sat down and thought about it yet, but I do have a few. Lose weight obviously, and get back on my feet (literally). Get my butt back to work at the ABC where I belong, be there for my friends, family, and those that I hold dear. Anything else? Start promoting my site better and get more focused instead of being all over the place as I am now. Start a podcast. And despite all the downs that 2021 has put in my path, come back bigger, better, and more awesome than ever. And find love or at least some good lust and lots of it. I’m gonna rock some lucky guy’s world.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Thoughts, comments, and any questions you may have about what you’ve read here or anything at all, just give me a shout and we’ll chat. Until the next time, take care of yourself and stay good and safe. I will see you at the Yoga Class. Take care and have a great day.

Ubuntu!
