This world is full of questions. I’ve got the answers, right here and now. It’s 5 Questions. Let’s do this.
What is the best music to listen to while cooking?
While cooking, I like old R&B or soul music. It brings out my inner-black woman who uses lots of lard in their cooking, has plenty of Soul, and touches you deep inside, either through feelings or heartburn. Crank up the Betty Wright, Aretha, or The Jimmy Castor Bunch and let’s get to cooking. Here’s my cooking video music.
What is the worst kind of dental work to have done?
I hate dentists and anything that involves pain is absolutely the worst. That means having teeth pulled, root canals, or anything where cutting is involved. Did I mention that I hate dentists? Blah!
What is the best music to listen to while driving?
Fast and hard rock & roll. If you’re having an emotional breakdown, you go for the country, but for just riding and traveling, crank up the AC/DC, Alice Cooper, and of course, Sammy Hagar with his classic, “I Can’t Drive 55”. Here’s the video. Now let’s go riding.
What color was your first car?
A tan-colored, almost golden, 1978 Toyota Corolla. It was a great car until I accidentally rolled it.
What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever been asked?
I was working one time and was approached by an elderly woman, at least in her ’70s and possibly older. She walked up to my register, moving slowly and kind of cautiously looked up at me, and asked me, “Are you a mean man?”. Yes, she really did ask this and it caught me off guard. I admittingly wasn’t in a great mood, but I didn’t realize that my anger and frustration were that evident. So I looked at her, smiled, and said, in a soft and quiet manner, “Hell yes!”.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Talk to me, my Peeps. Until the next time, stay good and be safe. I’ll see you at the Freaker’s Ball. Shout out to Dr. Hook! Take care.
