Keeping it 100, just like K-Dogg & Disco. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Does Jim Crockett Promotions go full-time after Ric Flair’s last match?

Full time? Nope. David Crockett is in his 70s and the demands of running a full-time wrestling promotion, especially after so many years out of the business, would probably be too much work and truthfully not worth the effort or work involved. I can picture Crockett promoting a year event with Conrad Thompson like Starcast, but running daily or weekly events, that’s just not going to happen.

Do you see Liv Morgan going over clean with Ronda at Summerslam?

It sounds nice, but it’s not going to happen. Either Ronda wins or Bayley returns and screws it up for everyone by inserting herself into the Smackdown Women’s Championship title picture.

What is the point in Maximum Male Models? They’re set up to be the new Spirit Squad or something?

Is there a point? It makes Vince laugh or smile or something. It’s a dumb gimmick that reaks of the 80s and not in a good way. LA Knight and his two clients, Mansoor and whoever the other guy is, are being set up to fail.

I know AEW like to cycle its talent but why aren’t they pushing the hell out of Hook?! I know he’s special and I trust they have a plan for him but surely he should be wrestling on TV more than he is right?

Wrong. Despite the great reception and push that Hook gets, remember that he’s only been actually wrestling less than a year and has fewer than 20 matches under his belt. He’s as green as the inside of a baby’s diaper after a meal of steamed corn and squash. Less is more for now until Hook gets more experience and gets better in the ring. He’s growing into his role and it’s far better at this point to not overexpose him or throw him into the spotlight too often before he’s ready. Look at what could happen with examples like David Flair. AEW is doing this right with Hook.

Who do you think Wardlow will feud with first for the TNT title, and do you think MJF will cost him the belt somewhere down the line?

Wardlow’s first feud? How about Lance Archer or maybe Powerhouse Hobbs for a start. And then, move on to former champion Sammy Guevera to get maximum exposure and heat. And the idea of MJF coming back to cost Wardlow the title? What a heel thing to do. I like it.

With the allegations regarding Vince McMahon’s sexual misconduct, do you think he’ll be ousted from the company entirely? If he is, will Stephanie become the permanent CEO/Chairwoman, and do you see the landscape changing and going in a new direction?

So far as being out of the WWE entirely goes, so long as Vince is capable of breath and has a heartbeat, he’ll be a part of the WWE in some way, shape, or form. I can see Steph remaining as the CEO/Chairwoman indefinitely though. Vince doesn’t need the pressure and if Steph can do the job and does it well, I can see Vince backing off and allowing her to remain in that position. As for the landscape changing, I can see HHH and Steph changing up the landscape a bit and things moving on a different, more wrestling-orientated path with less focus on the entertainment aspect while allowing less scripting and more freedom with their characters. I expect to see WWE lean more towards an NXT-like product as HHH and Steph gain influence and power and as the Vince loyalists, fade out and leave.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care friends, and stay good. Watch out for the foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
