Happy Birthday to my sister, Lynn Stokes, my Aunt Ida Johnson, and my sister by choice/fate Lee Ann Pate. Three amazing women who I am very honored to have as part of my life. Let’s talk Pro Wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. And away we go.

Eddie Kingston has been getting a lot of criticism on Twitter due to his appearance. Thoughts?

Do people actually watch pro wrestling on The Network and on YouTube? Go look at the territories and wrestling matches anywhere but the WWE before 2000. Good wrestlers come in all shapes and sizes and not every wrestling star has the physique of Lex Luger or Bobby Lashley. Look at Dusty Rhodes, Dick Murdoch, Wahoo McDaniel, or Baron Von Raschke for example. Every one of these men was a top athlete and could go sixty minutes easily seven nights in a row. So all of this talk about Eddie Kingston and how he’s not athletic. The people who are complaining about Kingston’s appearance are the same ones who think the earth revolves around Keith Lee. There is nothing wrong with Eddie’s body. He’s a good wrestler and a great talker. Get the hell over it already.

Last 5 AWA Champions (Larry Zbyszko, Mr. Saito, Jerry Lawler, Curt Hennig & Stan Hansen) versus the Last 5 ECW Champions (Rhino, Sandman, Steve Corino, Jerry Lynn & Justin Credible). Who wins?

As much respect as I have for the ECW talents, the group that held their top belt for the final years of existence after most of the top talent had gone to WCW or WWE, was not very impressive at all. The AWA has Zbyszko, Lawler, Hennig, and Hansen. ECW has Rhino. There is no comparison here. The AWA team wins.

You’ve got a time machine and can book a super-card of wrestling event with any wrestlers from any era. You can book twelve matches. What matches are you booking for your show? What arena? And who are your commentators calling the action and doing the interviews?

We’re booking Madison Square Garden with Bob Caudle, Jim Ross, and Dutch Mantell calling the action. Gene Okerlund & Missy Hyatt are handling the interviews, while Lilian Garcia & Gary Michael Capetta are taking turns with the ring introductions. Now, let’s book a wrestling event.

The opener would be a 21-man Battle Royal with the winner getting a check for $20,000. The participants are Disco Inferno, RVD, Rhino, Matt Cardona, Heath Slater, Orange Cassidy, Sammy Guevera, Juventud Guerrera, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Tyrus, Chris Masters, Austin Idol, Tommy Rich, Earthquake, One Man Gang, Konnan, Rufus R. Jones, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Dick Murdoch, and Baron Von Raschke.

Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger & Sting versus Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & X-Pac.

Next would be the ladies as Ivory, Victoria & Asuka versus Charlotte, Becky Lynch & Bayley.

The Perfect Family: Larry Hennig, Curt “Mr. Perfect” Hennig, and Curtis Axel versus Blackjack Mulligan, Bo Dallas, and Bray Wyatt.

Jimmy Valiant teams with Orange Cassidy & Danhausen to go against the bWo (Big Stevie Cool, Nova & The Blue Guy).

Texas Street Fight: The Mighty Igor & Dusty Rhodes versus The Sheik & Bulldog Brower

10 Man Tag Team Elimination: The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, Dennis Condrey) & The Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) w/ Jim Cornette versus The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) and Demolition (Ax, Smash, Crush) w/ Paul Ellering.

The Hart Foundation (Bret, Owen, Neidhart, Davey Boy & Pillman) w/ Jimmy Hart versus The Horsemen (Flair, Ole, Arn, Tully & Windham)w/ James J. Dillon.

Brock Lesnar versus Stone Cold Steve Austin

The Von Erichs (Kevin, Kerry, David) versus The Fabulous Freebirds (Hayes, Roberts, Gordy)

21 Woman Battle Royal with the winner getting a check for $20,000.
Gail Kim, Madusa, Nidia, Baby Doll, Sasha Banks, Naomi, Jacqueline, Sable, Sherri Martel, Awesome Kong, Mickie James, Natalya, Luna Vachon, Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, Trish Stratus, Lita, Dawn Marie, Torrie Wilson, Ann Casey, and Stella Mae French.

Title Unification Fatal 5-Way Match:
WWF Champion Hulk Hogan versus NWA Champion Harley Race versus AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkle versus IWGP Champion Vader versus The Rock.

And there you go. And remember card is subject to change.

Paul Wight says that he proposed a buddy team with Marko Stunt in AEW, but it never happened. Would you have liked to see Marko & Wight together?

That would be interesting, but for anything more than a one-shot, it would get old and stale pretty quickly. Wight isn’t what he once was and has slowed down quite a bit in the ring, while Marko, who I enjoyed quite a bit on the Sammy Guevera VLOG, is kind of annoying as a wrestler. So while this would get a good pop at first, I don’t think I would be interested for very long.

I think WWE needs to do a feud with Drew McIntyre & The Bloodline. Just imagine, a six-man main event with Roman & The Usos versus a one-night-only reunion of the 3MB. That would be awesome!

Yes, that would be awesome. If anyone sees Vince McMahon, tell him to book this. The match and the ratings would be epic. And yes, I know that Heath currently works for Impact Wrestling, but all it would take would be a phone call and I’m sure Impact would “loan” Heath out for a show or two. Book it, Vince.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, take care and be good. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
