In a world full of questions, I have the answers. Well, for pro wrestling anyhow. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

According to Meltzer, Paige has not yet been medically cleared to compete in AEW. So why the big debut? Do you think she’ll be returning to the ring or is this all just smoke & mirrors?

I can’t see why Khan would hire Paige and bring her back in such a grand manner if she wasn’t cleared to wrestle, but then again, he paid big money for Mark Henry, Big Show, and several others who can’t or don’t wrestle so who knows for sure. I’m thinking that at some point, Paige will take part in some matches, once the goodwill and excitement of her return start to wear off, but as her to the status now, if Meltzer is correct, I just don’t get it.

Should WWE bring back Tough Enough and/or The Divas Search, separate from NXT, to compete in the Reality TV market? And if so, who would you have as “Coaches” for the Tough Enough show?

The Diva Search? No way. I think the women of WWE are far beyond any use of the word “Diva” and based on the type of women this brought to the WWE in the past, they just don’t need it. As for the Tough Enough deal, I actually enjoyed most of those and wouldn’t mind seeing it brought back. It’s good TV and even though, with the creation of the Performance Center, WWE doesn’t need it, it still could be fun. As for the Coaches, how about Norman Smiley, Natalya, and Kurt Angle? I’d watch it.

Ole & Gene Anderson, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew, versus FTR, two out of three falls. Who wins?

Both teams would split a fall to start and then, FTR would get the final and determining fall as Ole & Gene would want to do the right thing and put these kids, who are “not the shits” over.

Should Piper and Ace have been given a legit tag team run in WWE?

It would have been interesting and nice to see, but to tell the truth, Piper and his partner, “Ace” Orton, aka Bob Orton Jr., didn’t need the belts. They were over like Rover and the belts would have just been a meaningless prop for them that was better suited to helping to build other stars & talents.

The Good Brothers (Gallows & Anderson) have wrapped up with Impact Wrestling. What’s next? WWE, Japan, AEW, or what?

I don’t think it’s AEW because if it was, they would already be there. I’ve heard that they’re taking some dates for New Japan and given their history there, that makes sense. As for WWE, it might happen eventually, but for right now, there have been so many “surprises” with more coming that the appearance of The Good Brothers would just get lost in the shuffle. If they do return to WWE, it’ll be when the time is right and they can make a significant impact. For now, though, I think their future lies more in Japan than anywhere else.

Bryan Danielson versus Chris Benoit. Who wins?

This would be an excellent match and the two men are so even in that ring, it could easily go in either direction. Danielson is so damn good, but Benoit had that intensity factor. I think Benoit would win this one after about 45 minutes of insane brutality and action.

So when AEW eventually makes a Hall of Fame, who’s first? My money’s on Jericho.

That sounds like a safe bet. I’m sure a few old-timers and legends would be in as part of the first HOF Class for AEW as well, like Sting, Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson, etc., but the first name would be Jericho, as it should be.

What are your thoughts on Sabu?

He’s homicidal, genocidal, suicidal, and pretty damn intense. I personally have never really been a big fan of Sabu, but the man is a good wrestler who created a character using elements of high-flying, some craziness, and the better qualities of his uncle, the original Sheik, and made a great career from that mixture of elements. He was perfect for ECW at the time and sooner or later belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame.

I can’t support AEW anymore due to Tony Khan’s crybaby act. He complains about the horrible things he says WWE has done to him, without a leg to stand on, all while he takes shots at them all the time. Tell me I am wrong.

You’re not wrong. AEW has some very good wrestlers and can be entertaining to watch sometimes, but as soon as Khan comes on camera or does a press release or a media scrum, I immediately feel myself getting annoyed and want to tune out. Tony doesn’t know when to shut up and his mannerisms, his shots at the WWE as you noted, just about everything hurts AEW more than it helps. Khan just needs to have someone else handle the media and appearances and just stay behind the scenes and off camera. It would absolutely make everything easier for us fans.

If Miz is hiring security to protect him from Dexter Lumis, wouldn’t it be a good idea for him to bring back his Miztourage, Curtis Axl & Bo Dallas, for a one-night shot to act as his bodyguards? Does it make sense from a logic/story point of view?

It would make some great TV and entertaining moments. Axel was recently working as an agent for WWE, but I think he got released. I’m thinking/hoping that there are other plans for Bo, maybe at the side of his brother in a possible return, but if that’s not the case, just from a storyline and logic perspective, it would make sense for Miz, if he’s needing protection, to go to someone or someones that he’s used before. The one-time B-Team, who worked as Miz’s lackeys before, would be an excellent choice.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good. Watch out for the foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
