It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Would you like to see AEW do its version of The Royal Rumble?

AEW already has its multiple-man gimmick match with the Casino Battle Royals. The only difference is they do five men at a time and the Rumble does only one wrestler at a time, but they’re essentially the same thing in my opinion, or close enough anyhow.

Who do you feel could be the next WWE veteran to get a Kofi-Mania push? When I say that, I mean a veteran who has been with the company for many years and is a great wrestler but never seems to get the title shot or even get a small push. Like a Dolph.

If Big E manages to come back from his injuries, he could easily be the next “that guy” with the strong push from out of nowhere. Madcap Moss is another guy worth keeping an eye on as well.

With the rumors of Stone Cold rejecting a match against Brock or Roman at this year’s Wrestlemania, who do you think he’d come back for at WM40? “Austin vs The Rock” part 4?

I don’t think so. With The Rock, it’s a been there/done that deal and neither Austin nor the Rock would want to repeat something that they’ve already done. I could see Austin coming back for someone like Drew McIntyre, Austin Theory, or Dominick Mysterio though.

Should WWE do a Ruthless Aggression PLE? Have the card full of stars from that era compete. Main Event, a fatal four-way between the OVW 4 Cena, Orton, Brock & Batista (Shelton Benjamin if he won’t do it).

That’s an interesting idea, but it’s too much reliance on the past and wrestlers that are past their primes. It would be fun to see, but I think WWE is more focused these days on moving ahead and the stars of the future than those of days gone by.

Why do you think WWE never added Nia Jaxx, Tamina, and/or Naomi (at the various times they were all in the company) to the Bloodline, especially since they weren’t exactly using them well over the last 2 years?

The Bloodline didn’t need them and in the case of Nia Jax and Tamina, it wouldn’t fit their characters. Naomi either, but she was being used fairly regularly. The Bloodline was all about Roman Reigns and there wasn’t a place for a female in the group. Now though, with both the Judgement Day and the OC having female members, in Rhea Ripley & Mia Yim, there is a spot for a female member. It’ll happen. It’s just a matter of time.

Sami and Cody vs. Roman at WrestleMania ends with a double pin. Sami wins the smackdown Title and Cody wins the Raw title. It is a Vince thing to do.

It is a Vince thing to do, but Vince isn’t in charge of WWE Creative anymore. Triple H is and it’s not an HHH thing to do. Two belts and two matches make far more sense.

Who do you believe in wrestling (not just WWE) is the one person that ANYONE can wrestle and be elevated by, even if they lose? (E.g Ricochet lost to Gunther recently but seems to have been somewhat elevated by it…)

Any woman who wrestles Charlotte or Asuka seems to be elevated. Any man who wrestles AJ Styles or GUNTHER, who you mentioned, also seems to get a boost from having wrestled that match.

Which would be more valuable to long-term storytelling for WWE. Cody wins the belt(s) at Mania to appease the kids/AEW fans, or Roman keeps both straps until SummerSlam solidifies him as the 5th longest-reigning champion in WWE history?

I’d have Cody win one of the belts, the WWE Championship, at Mania, but Roman, through whatever means necessary, keep the Universal title past Mania.

Why would the WWE put Rhea in a feud with Beth and also call out Charlotte? Now she’s gotta pull double duty.

Rhea is more than capable of doing both feuds and fighting both women. It’s called character development and establishing Rhea as a badass woman. And she most definitely is.

Are Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens getting a tag team title run well enough for this Bloodline story?

I would say so. Yes.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
