It’s time to talk wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. And that is all the people need to know. Let’s do this.

Lita & Becky Lynch are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, thanks to an assist from Trish Stratus. Thoughts?

While I’m happy to see Lita and Trish back on WWE TV, this whole tag team title thing doesn’t work for me. I liked the idea of DAMAGE CNTRL going into Mania as the tag champions and if they had to use Lita & Trish, I would rather have seen a six-woman tag match with those two and Becky taking on Bayley and her girls. Instead, those women are seemingly getting cast to the side so we can give Lita another check for her resume and a potential title match against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler instead. We all know that Lita isn’t going to be sticking around to work a full-time schedule so why even bother? It makes the outcome of any title match at Mania pretty predictable, don’t you think? Maybe I’m just overthinking it, but I’d rather see something else rather than what it seems we’ll be getting.

Vickie Guerrero is allegedly leaving AEW when her contract expires. What do you think is next for Vickie?

From what I understand, Vickie has job plans outside of professional wrestling in the future. I also expect that once she’s able, we might see a cameo or two by Vickie in WWE with the whole Con Dom Mysterio story. It just makes sense that she should pop up at some point and can you imagine the great heel heat that Dom and Rhea would get if they went after Eddie Guerrero’s widow? I hope that Hunter and the WWE do because it would be awesome!

Willow Nightingale wants AEW to establish a women’s tag team division. Should AEW do so? Thoughts?

No, they shouldn’t do so because AEW has far too many titles that don’t mean anything as it is, plus there really aren’t enough women on the AEW roster who can wrestle to form a tag team division. Maybe at some point it would work, but as for right now, not so much.

Tony Khan says “a lot” of AEW stars have alleged that WWE has contacted them. Thoughts?

I think Tony tends to exaggerate and make up things quite often. The stress and pressure of his job are getting to him and he’s getting paranoid and delusional. Dax, of FTR, likes to drink tequila with Baron Corbin. Is that WWE tampering with AEW talent? Bayley was spotted at the same New Japan show as CM Punk. Is that contract tampering? In Tony’s eyes, I’m thinking it would be. The man needs a vacation… and a good therapist. Maybe he should quit playing in the snow quite so often. He’s not on the Herb Abrams level yet, but he’s getting there.

Do you think Owen Hart would still be involved in wrestling if he was still alive, if so in what capacity?

Owen’s plans, if I recall correctly, were to save money, provide for his family, and retire early. That being said, if he was still alive, I expect he’d be running a wrestling school, training his kids, and maybe having a weekly podcast with Conrad Thompson.

Are you looking forward to the AEW Revolution PPV this weekend?

I’ll follow it on the internet and watch the highlights on YouTube, but to be honest, there is a different, better show that I’m looking forward to than anything AEW or WWE has going on this weekend and that is the ACW/C.A.G.E. Knights Honor event at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, NC on Saturday night. With stars like Sammy Love, Angel Angels, Nathan Cross, The New Breed, The Renegade Outlaw, Mob Boss Phil DeCarlo, and the Quick City Assailants all in the house, I expect that show will be far better than anything that AEW has going on. It’s ACW and CAGE at St. Andrews University on Saturday night. The bell time is 7:00 pm. Be there!

Madusa, in her prime, versus Rhea Ripley. Thoughts?

Madusa wasn’t that flashy, but the woman was solid in that ring and could go with the best of them. Rhea is just a powerhouse monster who gets better every week. This would be a fun match to see. I think Rhea would take the win though. No one messes with Mami.

X-Pac recently said that The Bloodline is right up there with the nWo. Agree or disagree?

I actually prefer the Bloodline over the nWo. The Bloodline has grown stronger and better with solid storytelling and booking and every single person involved in the Bloodline has grown stronger and better as a result. The nWo started hot, but it was WCW and there were too many big egos involved and it quickly went from a badass faction to a pile of confusion and chaos. Both are great factions and made their marks, but in the big picture of things, I think the Bloodline has made the bigger impact.

We’re only a few weeks away from Wrestlemania and so far, WWE hasn’t announced anyone yet for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023. Why? Do you think they’ll have a “Legacy Class”? And who do you think the inductees for this year will be?

I’m very surprised that we haven’t had any announcements as of yet because usually WWE is more on the ball and announcing names immediately after the Elimination Chamber event, but so far this year, nothing. I guess they’ll start throwing the names out there this week coming up. Who do I think the inductees will be? I think Batista, The Midnight Express, The Great Muta, and Ivan Kolloff are hopefully locks for the event, and maybe a few more names after that. As for a Legacy Class, I don’t think WWE did a Legacy Class last year so if there’s one for this year, it’s anyone’s guess. We’ll probably just have to wait and see.

Chris Adonis, aka Chris Masters, will be challenging Tyrus for the NWA World Championship at the NWA 312 PPV on April 7, 2023, in Chicago. Thoughts on this match? Do you think this is finally Adonis’ time?

Adonis, aka Chris Masters, has come a long way since his days as The Masterpiece in WWE and I’m happy to be seeing him get this opportunity. Masters versus Tyrus is an interesting clash of styles and it should be a fun match. And yes, I think for Chris, his time has finally come and he’ll be the next man to wear the legendary ten pounds of gold. He deserves it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are very welcome and appreciated. Talk to me, my Peeps. And with that, it’s time to wrap this up for the night. It’s 4:30 am and I need to try and get some sleep before the start of the new day. Take care and be well. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
