In a world full of questions, it’s always fun to reply with an answer or two. I used to do a regular piece called “Questions By Casper”, but alas, Casper has gone MIA. But others have stepped up to fill the void. Just random questions from my Twitter friends. Are you ready? Let’s go.
George Clooney isn’t available, Can you name another Famous “George”?
Several come to mind such as George Carlin, Curious George, Georgie who was Rod Stewart’s friend for who he wrote a song about his dying, George Peppard from the A-Team, and the Possum, George Jones. But my favorite is this guy. And watch out for that… tree!

Who is the greatest Teacher of all time?
For me, it was Lilian Brower, my 7th-grade teacher at Daniels Jr. High School in Raleigh, NC. She taught English and Social Studies and was an excellent teacher. She also became a friend outside of school and offered support and understanding during a time I desperately needed it.
What old movie (20+ years) still holds up today?
The James Dean/Julie Harris movie, East of Eden. A classic story with two great actors leading the way, it’s just a damn good movie, directed by Elia Kazan, and is one of my all-time favorites. It’s nothing fancy, but just that damn good and can stand up against any movie made today.
If you took the Bus where did you try to sit? Front Middle or Back.
I was always a middle-of-the-bus guy. My ride was never long and I just wanted to be left alone and mind my own business.
Finish this sentence: I’m lost without __.
Hell if I can think of anything. More often than not, I’m alone, drifting, and wandering about what comes next. Yeah, I know I have issues. But if I have to answer, I’ll go with my extended family. My bro, the amazing sister-in-law, and the awesome young uns. We’re all not as close as we once were as life keeps getting in the way, but they’re my reason for hanging on and staying in the fight.
What’s the furthest you’ve driven for wrestling?
A little over four hours to Elizabeth City, NC. Michael assured me that it was just a little way down the road and I believed him. sighs
Is stew soup?
I would say so. Yes.
Name someone famous for their hair.
Dolly Parton is famous for her wigs. Would that count? And one of Harry Potter’s most famous traits was that his hair always looked like it needed to be brushed. Yeah, let’s go with that one and Harry Potter.
How often do you bump into people you know in public?
This is not a large county and I’ve lived here for 45 years, working with the public for the large majority of those years so I’m a person who knows people. Lots of damn people. So how often do I bump into people I know? Every single time I walk out the door of my house.
Wonder Woman Or Storm?
Wonder Woman is indeed a wonder, but Storm, she’s just a true badass in every sense of the word. X-Men 4ever!
Where do you go for wisdom?
I listen to my brother, talk to my boss-man, and take rides through the country, enjoying the music of the night and reflecting on the inner workings of life and the world around me.
If the house you grew up in was for sale, would you want to buy it?
I have looked up our old family home in Raleigh many times and it brings back some good memories. I would have a bitch living there now with all of the stairs. It was a split level with several sets of stairs to get around the home. The bathroom upstairs was way too small for anything if I remember correctly as well. Yes, if I had the money and opportunity, I would snatch that house up in a flash. A nice house and a great neighborhood. It would be incredible.
Are you for or against the ban on permanent transgender surgeries for children?
I am definitely for it. Once a person is an adult, they can make up their minds on their own and do whatever they want, but a child is not capable of making that decision and these decisions are permanent. If any adult decides to allow an underaged child to undergo any kind of surgery or even live in a land of make-believe about their gender, it’s child abuse and should be treated accordingly as such. Once that kid becomes an adult, it’s their call and whatever. But until they’re adults, children shouldn’t be making permanent decisions, especially ones that will disfigure them and damage their bodies and psyche.
Favorite Christopher Walken movie?
I was a big fan of Walken in the movie, The Rundown, starring The Rock, Seann William Scott, and Rosario Dawson. That’s a great movie. But my favorite movie with Walken in a starring role? The musical, Hairspray. Walken was Wilber, the father of Tracey and the husband of Edna, played by John Travolta. Plus he sang and danced in the movie. That was awesome!
Can we get rid of the saying, “creative juices are flowing?”
Well, my creative juices are flowing and I can’t think of any better alternative saying, so no. Just no.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome. And with that, I’m out of here. I’ve got places to go and things to do, but I think I’ll start with a nap. Yeah, my family and these animals are getting on my nerves and I’m about ready to snap. A nap would be a good thing. So I’m off to do that. Take care and stay well, my friends. I’ll see you in the funny papers.
