It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and that is all the people need to know. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

If you were booking the upcoming Royal Rumbles, who would you bring in as numbers one and two?

If I was booking, I’d bring in Solo Akaoi & Jey Uso as the first two for the Men’s Rumble, while it would be Raquel Rodriguez & Chelsea Green for the Women’s Rumble match.

Elias is back wrestling again and his new name is Elijah. Thoughts?

It’s the same character and pretty much the same name. He’ll do well in TNA.

Thoughts on Edge winning, then losing the TNT title to Christian at World’s End. What’s the deal with Luchasaurus?

I thought it was kind of cool the way that they did that double-switch of the TNT Championship, to make Christian look like a bigger heel than ever and to make Copeland even more determined to get some payback and get that title from Christian. My question is about Luchasaurus, aka Kill Switch. Why does he give in to Christian so easily? What’s the deal? It reminds me almost of a Ted DiBiase/Virgil type deal and eventually, Luchasaurus is going to snap and turn on Christian. When he does, the pop from the fans will be huge. It’s coming though. Watch and see.

Sports Illustrated’s ranking of the Top 10 pro-wrestlers of 2023.Thoughts?
1) Cody Rhodes
2) Rhea Ripley
3) MJF
4) Trinity
5) Will Ospreay
6) Seth Rollins
7) Tetsuya Naito
8) Swerve
9) Gunther
10) Becky Lynch

A nice selection of names and for the most part, I agree with them, but there are a few that are questionable. Trinity as #4? Ospreay over Gunther? And Roman isn’t even listed or included. It’s an interesting list, but the more I look at it… Forget about what I just said about agreeing with them. Where is Dom Mysterio, arguably the biggest heel in wrestling right now? Where is Christian Cage, who has easily been one of the best things about AEW over the past year? I think someone at Sports Illustrated has maybe been hanging out with Matt Riddle a bit too much and partaking in the Devil’s Lettuce. Only that could explain this list, bro.

MJF is no longer listed on the AEW Roster Home Page. Thoughts?

It’s an angle playing off his story while he takes a break and recovers from injuries. Or he’s gone and is on his way to WWE. Regardless of which, it’s a ploy to get fans talking and speculating. And obviously, it’s working.

You can get front-row tickets to watch any wrestling event ever. What event would you watch?

Starcade 83: A Flair For The Gold, from Greensboro, NC in November 1983. It’s the true granddaddy of them all and was one hell of a show.

What wrestling writers/journalists do you enjoy regularly? Which ones do you stay away from?

The writers I enjoy and like reading are Mr. Tito, from NoDQ.com, and Mike Johnson from PWInsiderElite.com. Tito is a smart guy who knows wrestling like few others and has been writing his columns for nearly twenty years, first at LordsofPain.net and then moving over to NoDQ a few years ago. As for Mike Johnson, he’s a real reporter who double-checks sources and gets verification for his stories before breaking the news. And if he’s wrong, he admits it. A real journalist in professional wrestling? Yeah, I can barely believe it either, but Mike is one and a very good one at that. As for who I avoid, it’s Dave Meltzer and Sean Ross Sapp. Meltzer’s bias towards certain wrestlers is so obvious, that it’s not even funny, plus he’s wrong more than he’s right and refuses to admit it. As for Sapp, his reporting is okay, but his ego is huge and he strikes me as an ass-clown. I asked a question to him one time, daring to correct him, and he immediately blocked me on Twitter. Yeah, he’s a dork.

What happened to Miro and Keith Lee in AEW?

Bad and inconsistent booking. What other reason do you need?

Do you think South Park’s parody of Logan Paul will affect his WWE career?

Logan Paul is a heel and being parodied by South Park will make his stock rise to historic levels more than anything else. It’s like a badge of honor for someone like Paul and I’m sure that WWE will notice and play on it in the months to come. If it affects his career, it will only be in a positive manner. Getting the attention of South Park means he’s made it and is a big someone now. That’s a definite good thing.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up for now. I’m expecting a phone call that is due any second and need to take a break anyhow. Be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
