It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Matt Cardona shows upon AEW Collision to challenge Adam Copeland for the TNT Championship. What the hell? Thoughts?

Did you hear that pop when Cardona came out and was revealed as Copeland’s opponent? It was a very cool moment and I enjoyed it.

WWE Speed debuts on X on April 3, 2024. Are you excited about this new Twitter exclusive show?

Truthfully, I had already forgotten about this show debuting. I’ll check it out and see how it goes, but it’s not a big deal in my opinion.

Goldust versus Papa Shango. Who wins?

This would be a weird and goofy match. It’d probably stink in terms of in-ring action, but the characters and the antics of each man would make it a must-see for any wrestling fan. I’d go with Goldust to win.

Chris Jericho’s WWE run in 2016-17 was 100 times better than Chris Jericho’s entire AEW run. Yes or no?

In the 2014-17 run, we had the Festival of Friends, the run with and against Kevin Owens, and The List. In AEW, we’ve had the Jericho Appreciation Society and a song& dance routine with MJF. There is no comparison in my opinion. The earlier run was better and if you don’t agree, you know what that means, right? You just made the list!

Matt Hardy recently announced he’s been offered a new AEW contract. Should Matt stay with AEW or reach out to WWE for a possible return?

Matt should do whatever he feels is best for his career and for his legacy. I would suggest talking to Triple H and having a conversation with the WWE before making any final decisions. In the big picture of things, I think that would be the better long-range plan.

If you were Tony Kahn, who would you hire to help you book the shows, write storylines, produce matches… Etc.

Scott D’Amore is free and not doing anything at the moment so he’d probably be the first person I’d reach out to. Jeff Jarrett works for AEW, as does Jerry Lynn & Dean Malenko, so ask for their input as well.

Has WWE dropped the ball with Angel Garza? Does he have the potential to be the next Eddie Guerrero?

WWE seems to have forgotten about Garza as of late, but I see his name pop up a few times and he’s currently part of Legado Del Fantasma so he hasn’t been totally ignored. The man has a lot of talent and potential and I think his time is coming as he continues to improve and get better. One comment though. There was only one Eddie Guerrero and will never be another. But if Angel can be the best Angel Garza possible, that’s more than sufficient in my opinion.

Jack Swagger, aka Jake Hager, versus Jinder Mahal. Who wins?

I’ve always been a big fan of Swagger, but never try to hinder the Jinder. Jinder Mahal wins.

What are your thoughts on Eric Bischoff’s criticisms of AEW?

My thoughts? Eric is 100% right. ‘Nuff said!

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. I’ll be back later today with more stuff. Take care and I’ll see you at the matches.
