Wrestling Q&A (Rivalries, B-Team vs A-Team, Sunny Sex Tape and More) – July 21, 2018

Tossing Salt Presents:
Wrestling Q&A
July 21, 2018

Rest In Peace Brickhouse Brown.

Happy Birthday Danny… I loves ya!

Lots of questions today from my friend Justin. Let’s do this…

What rivalries do you feel are under-rated? I was always a fan of the Cactus-Vader matches.

Back in the day when I was a kid, the rivalry between Johnny Weaver and Lord Al Hayes was one of my favorite. I liked the Kevin Sullivan versus Brian Pillman wars that involved the Dungeon of Doom and the Horsemen as well. The Midnight Express (Lane & Eaton) versus The Original Midnight Express (Condrey and Rose) was pretty good. Baby Doll versus Cornette was great. And for the modern day fans, I’d go with Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt from a couple of years ago.

What is your dream war games match. For me Team Extreme vs Sanity vs Shield (Seth,Dean and Paige)

Using the current WWE roster and storylines, I’d do with Team Miz (Miz, Kevin Owens, Harper, Rowan) versus Team Daniel Bryan (Bryan, Cena, The Usos).

So, is Sasha and Bayley going to be in a lesbianism angle?

HLA was big back in the days of the attitude era, but I can’t see a PG-14 WWE doing it, even with today’s more open opinions. It’ll be a kind of crush / love thing that’s more like sisters than lesbian lovers and then when it starts to bomb, be pushed under the rug and forgotten about by the WWE Creative team with a blow-off match between Sasha and Bayley that results in someone else getting involved and they (Sasha and Bayley) end up teaming again.

If Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are the B-Team, would the team of Irwin R. Schyster and Mr. Perfect be considered the “A-Team”?

No, the A-Team was the show with the big black guy with the mohawk (Mr.T), a souped up van and lots of fast driving and crazy fights where no one ever really actually got hurt or killed.

Is that Sunny or Greg the Hammer Valentine on that sex tape? I can’t tell.

Comparing Sunny (Tammy Stych) to “The Hammer” is a big insult to Valentine. He’s definitely far sexier and probably much better in bed.

First time you cried watching wrestling?

The first time? At a live show when the legendary Brute Benard came over to where my family and I were sitting and made some major scary moves in our direction. I was five and he scared the hell out of me.

Most shocking wrestler death?

Most would say Owen Hart because of the way it happened and the tragedy of that accident, but I think that the Benoit suicide /murders shocked me even more. What happened with Owen was an accident. But Benoit, to murder his wife and child and then kill himself a day later, that’s just so fucked up.

Top 5 uses For Hulk Hogan in 2018?

Traveling Ambassador for the WWE. Volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Analyst for the Kick-Off shows and post-event shows on the Network. Guest teacher at the WWE Performance Center. General Manager when either Paige or Kurt Angle eventually get fired.

Ric Flair: Was he the dirtiest player in the game?

When the situation called for it and he needed to be, absolutely.

Arn Anderson; better tag or singles wrestler?

Arn was a very good and solid singles wrestler, but it was in tag teams where he was at his best. Tag team titles with Matt Borne, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Paul Roma, Bobby Eaton and Larry Zbyszko are all proof of that.

WWE’s Dr. Shelby versus TNA’s Dr. Stevie – who wins?

Dr. Stevie with the Stevie kick.

Dance Off Battle Royal: Disco Inferno vs Alex Wright vs Tokyo Magnum vs No Way Jose vs Fandango vs Rikishi vs Too Cool vs Brodus Clay (Tyrus) vs Kelly Kelly vs Naomi vs Lana. Who wins?

The fans when Brock Lesnar storms the ring in the middle of this fiasco and clears the ring, giving everyone a suplex, an F-5 or just a mean sneer that sends everyone running for cover. Or if that can’t happen, I’ll go with Disco Inferno. After all, it’s your duty to shake your booty and we all know that everyone just watches wrestling so that they can see the Disco Inferno dance. If you don’t believe him, just ask him.

ECW Zombie versus The Yeti – who wins?

Otherwise known as Tim Arson versus Ron Reiss. I’ll go with the dead man. Zombies are the big thing now anyways, right?

And there you go. I’m through. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts and any questions, just let me know. Until the next time, take care.
