Eye Of The Tiger: Drink & Song

Eye Of The Tiger
(Drink & Song)
August 17, 2018

Since I work in a business that deals in fine spirits and adult beverages, I feel that it’s my duty to every so often give tips and hints that will help my customers and readers have great drinking experiences. The best thing I can tell you, especially if you’re a hot guy, is to come drink with me and let’s party. It’ll be a great experience. I can promise you that. Aside from that, all I can do is occasionally share some drink recipes that you can try at home. This may become a regular thing. I haven’t decided for sure as of yet, but for now, just consider it a public service, giving you another option besides the usual beverages for your drinking pleasure. This one, shades of Hulk Hogan, is called “Eye Of The Tiger”. And yes, I’ll include the video of the song by Survivor as well with this post. First though, the drink…

Eye Of The Tiger

This is a drink that has a dark rum float on top. It adds a suitably tigerish bite to what otherwise tastes like a rather innocent fruity mixture.

@00 1 1 10 1 1 eye of the tiger

1 1/2 tbsp Light Rum
1 1/2 tbsp Malibu
1 1/2 tbsp Cranberry Juice
1 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 1/2 tbsp Orange Juice
1 1/2 tbsp Sugar Syrup
2 tsp Dark Rum

Shake all but the last ingredient well with ice and strain into a highball glass half filled with crushed ice. Sprinkle the dark rum on to the surface of the drink and garnish with a slice of orange. Then rip your shirt off, flex your muscles to the people around you and pose, brother. And what you gonna do…???

That’s the drink. Now here’s the song.

Have a great one and I’ll catch you later. This song will now be in your head all day. You’re welcome.
