No Bond For Criminals, Sessions & More
September 1, 2018
It’s Fact or Fiction and it’s all about the world of politics. Yes, be prepared to get angry because you know I’m right. Let’s have some fun and do this…
California’s new law that requires no bond in order for non-violent criminals to be released until their court dates is a good idea.
FICTION: Without a cash bond over their heads, how many of these non-violent offenders do they think will actually show up for court dates? In theory, it sounds good that people who are locked up for misdemenors or non-violent offenses will not be required to post a bond and will be released within 12 hours, but… screw that. It doesn’t even sound good. It sounds as if some misguided liberal jackass believes that all people are good and honest and can be trusted. It’d be nice if it was true, but this is 2018 and the real world doesn’t work that way. A person is arrested if they commit a crime and then they post a bond in order to be released to assure that they will come to court. If it’s not fair, tough noogies. Then they shouldn’t have broken the law to be arrested in the first place. This is a stupid idea that only California would think will work. Makes me so damn glad I live in NC, as far away from those trusting idiots as possible.
President Trump’s response to the death of Senator John McCain was appropiate.
FACT: Trump sent out a tweet offering condolences to the family of Senator McCain and the First Lady made a very moving statement. And people say that “it’s not enough”. Maybe it’s not as loving and moving and sweet as some may have wanted, but let’s be honest here. President Trump did not like John McCain. And John McCain did not like President Trump. The President did what was required and expected of him and nothing more and most people, if they’re honest, would do the exact same thing. Would you go above and beyond the call of duty for a person who you had personal issues with and who went out of his way to oppose you at every turn? Nope and neither did the President. He could have done more and been more compassionate, but he also could have done much less.
Illegal aliens are criminals.
FACT: And despite what the media and Democratic party may try to spin, they’re are not “undocumented workers”, but “illegal aliens” and they’re called that because they’re in this country illegally. That makes them criminals. If they want to come and stay in the United States, there are procedures and rules to be followed. If someone from another country does not go through the proper steps and enters our nation without permission, they are illegal, they are criminals, they should be arrested and they should be deported. End of argument.
President Trump should replace Jeff Sessions as the Attorney General.
FACT: Sessions has been nothing but weak and a total failure during his term as Attorney General of the United States, allowing all sorts of corruption and illegal activities to run rampant in the DOJ and the FBI and either he needs to quit sitting on his hands and do something about it or else resign from the office and let the President appoint someone else who will do the job and make things right. Congressman Trey Gowdy, who is leaving Congress at the end of the year, would be a great pick. Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie would also be good in this role. Hell, even Judge Janine Pierro would be welcome at this point, but I hope it never comes to that. I don’t know what Sessions problem actually is, but he seems as if he’s afraid to act and risk offending anyone or afraid to take control of the DOJ. That’s exactly what we don’t need and if he can’t do the job, his job, he should be replaced as quickly as possible with someone who will.
More restrictive gun laws would help reduce the amount of shootings and school gun violence.
FICTION: All the laws in the world won’t make a bit of difference if no one is going to obey them. The ones who obey the laws aren’t the ones to worry about anyhow. It’s the criminal element that causes the problems and they don’t pay any attention to the laws anyhow. There are plenty of laws and restrictions on the books already. Just enforce what’s already there and make it harder for the violent criminals who violate these laws, but leave the regular people alone.
The Democrats will recapture the House of Representatives in the 2018 mid-term elections.
FICTION: If they do, we are doomed. Doomed, I tell you. They have nothing to run on except for a hatred of the President, but no new ideas or suggestions as to how to make things better and actually help our nation grow stronger. They have ideas about free this and free that and tax the rich man, but nothing that makes sense in the real world. The Republicans have record economic growth, the lowest unemployment rates in decades, tax cuts and pride in America to support their arguments as to why they should stay in power. I don’t think that most of America is stupid enough to entrust control of our Congress to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer again, seeing as how well it worked before when the Democrats controlled Congress. They’re the party of do-nothing and our nation deserves better. Trump may be an ass-clown in very many ways, but what he’s doing is working and he’ll need the Republican’s to control Congress to stay on track. And the best argument to keep the Republican’s in control of Congress? If the Democrats win, Maxine Waters gets power and control of the House Intelligence Committee. Miss Low IQ as the ranking member about intelligence? Think about it. Oh vey!
And there you go. Questions, comments and any other thoughts are welcome and appreciated. Let me know what you think. And with that in mind, I’m out of here for now. Thank you for reading. Until the next time, take care. I’m down and gone.
