More wrestling themed Q&A. I told you earlier that today was for playing catch-up and cleaning out my closet and with this, I’ll be finished with all of the Q&A’s that have been filling up my inbox. Then it’s on to more original and fun stuff. Can you say a “Day of Dougie”? We’ll see about that later, but for now, a few more questions about the pseudo-sport that makes you go, “Hmmmmm!”. The questions come from Dave and Mike. Let’s do this…

Now that they’ve officially announced the Saudi Arabia SuperShow, do you feel that the Evolution PPV is a pre emptive make good show to deflect any heat?

I can see why you’d think that and I agree that it’s probably one of the reasons for an all-women PPV, but I don’t think it’s the only reason. I think that the main reason we’re getting Evolution is that the women’s movement in WWE has come that far and that the women of WWE deserve it, plus the WWE thinks that it will make money. Those are the main reasons. That it deflects criticism of no women at the Saudi show is just an extra bonus.

Which October PPV are you more interested in: Super Show-Down or Evolution?

Evolution. It’s long overdue and the women of WWE deserve the chance to really shine and get that spotlight.

Do you think we’ve seen the last of the Hardy’s in WWE?

Do I think that the Hardy’s have been DELETED from the WWE Universe? Not at all. From all reports, Matt and his family will be having some kind of show on the WWE Network, plus Jeff is still working on Smackdown Live each week. So they’re still with the WWE and still going strong. WONDERFUL!

Do you ever see Big E getting a big singles push?

I could see it at some point, but I can’t see him doing any better than maybe a short run with a mid-card title at best. Of all of the New Day, I think that Xavier Woods is the one most likely to get some kind of singles push before WWE goes with Big E or takes another chance with Kofi.

Was the Shield reunited, Strowman turned heel, and McIntyre & Ziggler put with him all simply to get fans to cheer Roman?

That makes as much sense as anything, but I think that the main reason that the Shield was reunited was that it makes the WWE money and they sell merchandise. Plus all that you mentioned, that’s what Vince wanted. And if it gets the fans to cheer Roman, so be it. Even better.

Do you think Daniel Bryan is over with the fans as much as he was before he got injured a few years ago?

What happened a few years ago with Daniel Bryan was pretty amazing and was, I think, a once in a lifetime reaction. While Daniel is popular and over now, WWE can’t catch lightning in a bottle twice and the cheers aren’t quite as loud. I don’t think so anyways.

Do you see Alexa Bliss being turned face eventually?

Everyone turns face at some point, but I hope it doesn’t happen anytime soon. Alexa does an amazing job as a heel plays that role so well, I hope that WWE stays with it for as long as possible and if she does do a face turn, it turns out to be like a Ric Flair turn, one of opportunity, and she uses it to screw someone over and piss off the fans in the end.

Has Randy Orton had as many face/heel turns in his career as Kane & Big Show have?

I don’t know which of the three have turned the most, but all have done it far too often and it doesn’t have any kind of meaning or impact when they do it now. Who, in their right mind, would trust any of these three as their partner or friend anymore? It’s like the wind blows and they change character and it blows again, they change again. WWE has really hurt all three characters with the constant turning. Truth!

And there you go. I guess that’s all for now. Thanks for reading. Thoughts and comments are welcome as are any questions. Let me know what you think. And with that, I’m out of here. Until the next time, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars. Have a great one.
