5 Questions: Hot Dogs, Nuts, MAGA & More…

5 Questions
Hot Dogs, Nuts, MAGA & More
January 27, 2019

You have the questions. I have the answers. Ask me anything and I’ll do my best to answer it here, five or so questions at a time. These come from Paul. Let’s do this…

What do you like on your hot dog?

For me, the perfect hot dog would have ketchup, mustard, homemade chili, slaw and onions, with a side of crinkled fries and a Diet Dew.

Why do people like to yell so much?

I see this so often. People don’t speak, but they yell or should we say “speak loudly”. I don’t get it because the person they’re speaking to is only two inches away from them. But they all yell and speak over each other and still seem to manage to understand each other with the gibberish they’re screeching, but all I hear is loudness and a roar of sorts. Maybe it’s just a culture thing, but I don’t get it or like it. Speak quietly and use a calm, peaceful indoor voice and have some respect for the rest of us. We hear you. Everyone hears you. And guess what? We don’t care. So please… SHUT THE HELL UP! Thank you.

Favorite nut?

I can already hear my brother making his jokes right now, but I’m not going there with this question. Besides, you need to tell your boyfriend to change his diet. He tastes a little tangy. But what was I saying? Nuts? I like pecans and walnuts. All nuts are good nuts, but I prefer those nuts above all others.

Some people are saying that a “MAGA” hat is the same as a white hood and sheet and is racist. Thoughts?

Some people are stupid idiots. It’s racist to want to make the nation we all live in, America, the greatest country in the world? If someone believes that, then they don’t need to be living in this country and appreciating the good things that being an American offers. Go move to Russia, Iraq, South Africa or Detroit instead. We don’t need you or your ignorance and overly-sensitive Snowflake mentality. Make America Great Again! Sounds like a plan to me and the way we should be going.

Have you ever done a “Friendsgiving”?

For those who don’t get it, a “Friendsgiving” is a gathering of friends, kind of like Thanksgiving, but it’s not the family (thank goodness), but the same basic concept. Lots of food and drink and as formal or informal as you want to make it. Just say a big ass party with the people who are important to you, be they friends, family, co-workers, secret lovers or whatever. It can happen at any time of the year and I’ve never actually done one, but would like to at some point. Reunite the old “Stoney Crew”, my “Dairy Mart family”, the many cool and wonderful people I’ve met since then, a few Facebook friends and anyone else who I’d like to see. Just make a day of it of eating, talking, drinking, chillaxing and whatever else. If I ever have my own place, it may happen one day. Keep your eyes open for the invites.

And there you go. Questions and comments welcome. Thanks for reading and with that, I’m out of here. Have a great one and I’ll catch you later. Take care.
