It’s time to do that thing we do one more time. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. My thanks to Jesse and Matt for the great questions. It looks like someone was watching Smackdown earlier tonight. Let’s get busy and do this.

Are you glad to see Batista back?

Batista, as most are aware, showed up at the end of RAW and went into the Ric Flair dressing room to “assault” Ric Flair, thus getting the attention of HHH and setting up a match between the two Evolution alumni at Wrestlemania 35. And yes, I am glad to see him back. We’ve had the story teased for a while now about an HHH versus Batista match at Wrestlemania and WWE has finally pulled the trigger in getting things moving. I liked the way that they pulled the swerve because we knew Ric would be beaten up, but I think everyone expected Becky Lynch to be the one, but they use Batista instead. HHH vs Batista will be a good solid match for the big show and give Batista, who’s Hollyweird career is really taking off, one last hurrah if you will. I’m not a big Batista fan and never really have been, but this time around, I’m glad to see him back in action as part of the WWE.

Thoughts on Ronda Rousey giving up the RAW Women’s Championship?

It’s kind of odd, but I guess that means that she can lose the title, but not really ever get beaten for it, thus protecting the Rousey brand. It looks as if we’re getting a triple threat match eventually to headline Wrestlemania and while that sucks for Asuka, who will be forced to defend her title against a lesser opponent (Lacey Evans perhaps), it will make for a great match with three of the top women in WWE right now.

Are we going to get another Shield reunion?

Seth and Roman are already together and it’s just a matter of time before they accept Ambrose back into the fold, plus WWE has just released a whole lot of new Roman Reigns and SHIELD merchandise so I think it’s a definite “YES!”.

Thoughts on Heavy Machinery so far?

It’s the 2019 edition of the Bushwhackers. I look at these guys and I just see comedy and characters. It’s not easy as of yet for me to take them as a serious tag team. I guess since Santino left, they need a comedy act and this is probably it. Oh vey!

Was Vince right to replace Kofi Kingston in his title match at Fastlane against Daniel Bryan with Kevin Owens?

Yes and I’ll tell you why. It gets Vince over as a heel boss, not doing what the fans want, it’s a great way to bring Owens back into the title situation immediately and it makes Kofi a sympathetic figure that the fans, who are already behind him, can really feel for now. I think this is all a plan to pull a “Daniel Bryan” with Kofi and set up a triple-threat at Wrestlemania where Kofi can do what Bryan did a few years ago and have his Wrestlemania moment and win his first WWE Championship. It’s all about the build and this is a great way to get the ball rolling on a story to take Kofi to the next level and singles main event stardom.

Should Vince award Charlotte the Raw Women’s Championship next Monday on RAW?

Nope because it wouldn’t be fair to all of the other women on RAW who wrestle week in and week out and would be screwed over as a result of such a decision. I think the now-vacant title will be part of a triple-theat main event with Charlotte, Ronda and Becky at Wrestlemania 35.

Is the Honky Tonk Man a good choice for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame?

The longest running IC Champion of all time? He’s definitely a good choice and deserving of the honor.

Are you glad to see Matt Hardy back in action in WWE?

I think having Matt back in action for WWE is WONDERFUL! Now, we just have to figure out where his former tag team partner, Bray Wyatt is and when he’s coming back.

And there you go. My thanks again for the questions and to everyone reading this. Any comments, thoughts or questions you’d like answered, please give me a shout and we’ll handle it. Until the next time, don’t forget to support your local Indy wrestling company, remember that CAGE is coming to Laurinburg, NC on March 9, 2019 at the Armory and rock & roll is king. Have a great one and I’ll see you at the matches.
