Yes, it’s another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. These questions come from a loyal reader from Ohio, Larry. And the answers, that’s all just me. Let’s do this…

How many dates until you tell a girl you watch wrestling?

Anyone and everyone who knows me or knows of me knows that I’m a “wrestling guy” so that’s not a problem that I would have to deal with. Also, I don’t date girls so that isn’t a problem either. I’ve been watching wrestling since I was in diapers and that isn’t going to change until the day I die. As Popeye would say, “I yam who I yam!”. Take it or leave it and there you go.

Who was the better manager: James J. Dillon, Jim Cornette, or Gary Hart?

All three were great at what they did. Dillon and Hart were former wrestlers and Cornette was the non-athlete who managed arguably the best tag team of the ’80s. If I was looking for a manager for myself as a wrestler, I’d probably work best with Hart, but my personal favorite, and I loved them all, would be Cornette.

Do you believe that Roman Reigns is done with the WWE?

Not at all. When things have changed and settled down, Roman will be back on TV, back at the live shows and back as one of the top guys in WWE. Believe that!

Who will be revealed as the Smackdown “hacker” character?

A new video that been released as of earlier today seems to point to Maryse or maybe Ronda Rousey. Fan speculation seems to be pointing towards CM Punk being the culprit. I think we’ll get a swerve and it will be a total shocker. I’ll go with Eric Bischoff being revealed as the “hacker”.

What are your thoughts on the State of Maryland fining AEW $10,000?

AEW broke the rules set down by the Maryland Athletic Commission and did it with a representative of the Commission present so they had to deal with the consequences. It’s no big deal and given the publicity that this has gotten, it’s great advertising. Tony Khan can just write it off as money well spent for some great publicity and a way to show the world how “edgy” that AEW can be.

Was Tommy Dreamer out-of-line by calling Zack Ryder an “idiot” for buying Action Figures?

Tommy has spoken of this and it was a rib, an inside joke between two men who are friends. Was Tommy out of line? Probably, but Zack didn’t get mad or care so why should anyone else?

Which one has the bigger upside as a top heel for AEW. Sammy Guevera or MJF?

Sammy has a great future but is still an up-and-coming star and is still learning. He’s like a sponge and getting better every day. MJF is still very young as well and also getting better, but he’s there. For the immediate future, I think MJF has a bigger upside. Guevera is getting better and in five years, he’s definitely going to be one of the top guys in the business.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Any comments, questions or other thoughts to share, drop me a line and let’s chat. Until the next time, take care of yourself and stay safe. Have a great one and I’ll catch you on the flip side.

Ubuntu!
