Mr. Belding, of “Saved By The Bell” fame, walks into a room. He sees two former WWE Superstars standing there.

“Zack and Slater? What is going on here?”, he asks.

“My name is Matt. Matt Cardona”, the first man replied.

“And I’m Heath”, the second man said.

“So you’re not Zack Ryder and Heath Slater?”, Mr Belding asked.

“We were in a previous life”, Cardona replied.

“But now we’re free”, Heath added.

“I’m confused”, Belding said.

“We were, but now we’re not”, Cardona smiled.

“I don’t understand. Are you Zack & Slater or not?”, Belding muttered as he rubbed his head.

“I used to have kids”, Heath said.

“And I spiked my hair”, Cardona added.

“I hate you!”, Belding sighed as he walked away.

“Woo woo woo. You know it!”, Cardona said.

“Hey Cody, call us!”, Heath added.

And I know that doesn’t make sense, but I had a dream last night after watching a great Heath Miller interview and watching part of a Matt Cardona interview and well, that’s the result. Now let’s answer some questions. These are from Matt and from Cheese. I’m a few days behind so there are a lot of them. Let’s do this.

Who would win in a legitimate shoot fight? Billy Jack Haynes or The Missing Link?

In his youth, Billy Jack Haynes was supposedly a legit tough guy and could kick some ass. These days, he’s just a bat-shit crazy conspiracy theory clown who’s desperate for attention. The Missing Link, aka Dewey Robertson, I don’t know. He was a legit sports star and was named Dewey so you know that he had plenty of fights growing up because of that name. I just checked up and Dewey passed away in 2007. Haynes is still alive and breathing so I guess by default, a living creature should be able to beat a dead one unless they’re a vampire or the Walking Dead. Whassup Kenneth? So BJH wins.

Where would you rank Barry Windham among all-time greats of pro wrestling?

Windham was a damn good wrestler and could have been one of the greatest of all time, but I can’t remember if it was Arn Anderson or maybe Flair that said it. Barry was content as long as he had money in his pocket and a woman or two. He had the tools and ability, but not the ambition and work ethic. He’s in my Top 20 of all-time greats based on talent alone, but he could have been so much more if he had wanted to.

Chief Jay Strongbow vs. Wahoo McDaniel? Who wins?

Wahoo was a legit tough SOB. Strongbow was a fake Indian and I’ve never heard anyone brag about how bad-ass or tough he was. I’m pretty sure Wahoo would kick Jay’s ass pretty easily.

Thoughts on the passing of Little Richard?

A sad day for music, entertainment, and the world in general. Little Richard was one of a kind and one of the most unique characters ever in entertainment, period. He will be missed.

Now that he’s been released by WWE, what do you think is next for Kurt Angle? Will he return to the ring?

Kurt probably shouldn’t make a regular return to the ring, but I can see working a few shows here and there and making some money. Kurt isn’t what he once was by any means, but he’s a name and capable of substituting entertainment for where the wrestling once was. Unless WWE calls him back after all this COVID-19 mess clears up, I think we’ll see a “retirement tour” and maybe a couple of matches in Japan. Then it’s off to conventions, appearances, and maybe some endorsements as he winds down his career.

Comedian Tom Segura made a comment on his podcast that “I think wrestling is for f**king r***rds. I think it is the f**king stupidest s**t, and I think you’re a f**king tool if you’re like, ‘Hey man, it’s not fake.’ It’s f**king fake and you’re a f**king idiot. They’re not real fights. These are just stunt people.” Thoughts?

Who? Does anyone even know who this clown is? Does anyone even care what he says or thinks? I don’t. He’s a clown, a loser, and a freakin’ pinhead. Or as Jericho would say, “a stupid idiot!”. An opinion is just like an asshole. Everyone has one and most don’t matter. This clown’s certainly doesn’t.

Thoughts on the Money In The Bank PPV?

It was… different. My first thoughts immediately after watching the main event was, “What the hell did I just watch?”. The Seth versus Drew match was damn good and I enjoyed most of the show. That main event though? I’m glad Asuka won, especially given the twist that happened the next night on RAW. The cameos were hit and miss. I liked seeing Brother Love, Heyman and Vince. Doink was weird and the Stephanie spot was cringe-worthy. It was different to be sure. And that’s all I can really say about that.

Becky is pregnant and vacated the RAW Women’s Championship. Asuka is the new champion. Thoughts on this situation.

I’m glad that Asuka is the new champion. She deserves it and will be a great champion for RAW. Becky pregnant? That was a shock and totally unexpected, but it happens. She had a fantastic ride for the past year and now, she’s going to be a Mom. Congratulations to both her and Seth Rollins on this great news and time in their life.

Sami Zayn has been stripped of the Intercontinental Championship due to not being able to defend it. Good move by WWE?

A necessary move since Sami wasn’t missing matches for any reason other than choosing not to wrestle during the current crisis. Sami made the choice not to work and WWE needs to be able to use their titles and property as they see fit to entertain the fans, not cater to the wishes of a superstar. When Sami comes back, he can make the claim that he’s the true IC Champion and then he and whoever becomes the new champion can fight over the title for a while. It’s Booking 101 in action. WWE is doing what they need to do and it gives them stories and matches for down the road. Everyone wins.

R-Truth has brought back the character of “Pretty Ricky”. Thoughts?

I wish Truth would lose the fake teeth and just drop the “Pretty Ricky” character. It sucks in my opinion and it’s not funny. If Truth wants to bring back an ally from the past, go get Little Jimmy. That would be cool. But Pretty Ricky? That character needs to be left at home.
