Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Mustafa Ali, Five Star Matches, Jazz & More
October 8, 2020
It’s the jet flying, limousine riding, kiss stealing, wheeling-dealing Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
Mustafa Ali has been revealed as the leader of Redemption. Thoughts?
At least he’s getting some TV time and a storyline, even if it is this lame ass shit. I guess it makes sense in a way and why not have the guy of Middle Eastern descent lead the terrorist faction? No typecasting here, right? This angle has started off badly, but maybe Ali can help save it and turn it into something possible. For his sake, I hope so.
Netflix has canceled GLOW and there will be no Season 4. Thoughts?
I truly hate this since GLOW was a fun series to watch and one of the best things currently on Netflix, especially for us fans that remember the original GLOW. Maybe they’ll reconsider after things open up a bit and the worst of the current pandemic is deemed to be over. But if not, we did get three great seasons and some good stories. It’s a show that everyone involved can be proud of.
Lana keeps getting put through tables. Is this retaliation by WWE for her husband, Miro, joining and being a part of AEW?
What? The WWE and Vince McMahon being petty as hell because a former talent is doing well in another company and exposing many of their little dark secrets and then retaliating by taking it out on his wife, who’s still with their company? No, that would never happen. (rolls eyes)
Fabulous Moolah versus Asuka. Who wins?
I have no doubt that Moolah was a tough woman and knew how to shoot and fight dirty if necessary, but Asuka is Asuka and as she often says, “No one is ready for Asuka!”. That would apply to Moolah as well. The winner would be Asuka.
If you were hired to be a manager by WWE and could pick any four mid-card or lower-level talents currently under contract to form a faction, who would you pick?
How about Bobby Roode, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura & Carmella.
Same question, but with AEW talents.
I think I’d do with Joey Janella, Christopher Daniels, Sammy Guevera & Luchasaurus.
Same question, but working for Impact Wrestling.
My team would be Heath, Rhyno, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.
What to you makes a five-star match?
A match that tells a story, makes sense, and is a combination of physical action and psychology that draws you in from start to finish and leaves you fulfilled, but still wanting more.
Jazz has announced her retirement from in-ring action as a wrestler. Thoughts?
Jazz is a good wrestler and tough lady who didn’t get nearly the recognition or push she deserved when in the WWE. She’s a strong performer and has an aura of credibility about her that was hard to find back in the day. I wish her much luck and happiness in her life and in whatever the future holds. She deserves it.
