Greetings Infidels and welcome to Day 9. Yes, I have been listening to Jeff Dunham and Achmed, the Dead Terrorist this morning. Why do you ask? Silence! I keel you! It’s Friday morning and guess what? I’m off from work today. We (the employees at my place of employment) all get one weekend off a month. This is my weekend so yay for me. I have several things planned for the site so you’ve been warned. I may even if I can be left alone long enough, venture back into my “Avenging Shadows” universe and work on a fan-fic story that’s been in the back of my mind for a while. Or I might just take a lot of naps. We’ll have to wait and see. And if by some chance, you’re curious about what the “Avenging Shadows” Universe is, go check out http://www.fanfiction.net and look under the writer name of TSFiction19. It’s me and there’s lots of good stuff. If I can remember, I’ll insert a link to the page here. https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1847290/ Now, let’s move on with the 12 (Dougie) Days of Christmas. Let’s get the Magic Bag. And today’s topics are Loopy, goody-two-shoes, and Vacation. And now that we know, let’s do this…

Loopy…

Loopy is a vodka made by Three Olives and believe it or not, it tastes just like Fruit Loops. It really and truly does. I remember drinking this stuff, mixing it with pineapple juice, while at a birthday celebration for a person who shall not be named, and damn, it was good. I liked it, drank much of it, and got drunk. I don’t know the history of this particular flavor, but Three Olives is a decent mid-grade vodka, fairly cheap, but with a decent taste and a variety of flavors. At the store I work at, we only have the plain (regular) and the Loopy, but it also comes in Cherry, Coconut, and Strawberry and I’m sure many other flavors as well. I can’t recommend it enough. I remember when I first started working at the liquor store, they also had some special commemorative bottles featuring Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. I kept waiting for James Dean, but that never happened. But the Loopy, it’s still there and we sell a lot of it. It’s good stuff. If you like something different with your vodka, slightly out of the ordinary, try it. You’ll like it. I know I did.

Goody-Two-Shoes…

It was a song by a singer named Adam Ant and it asked the question, “Don’t drink? Don’t smoke? What do you do?”. I think they were talking about me. I’m such an angel, don’t you know? I’ll just play the video and move on because I can and that’s what I feel like doing. Yeah, I’m cheesing out this morning. My bad, but it’ll be allight. Here’s the video.

Vacation…

A great movie starring Chevy Chase that everyone knows and loves. It all started off with Chase, playing the character of Clark Griswold, in 1983, just trying to take his family to Walley World. Of course, craziness and hijinks ensued from start to finish and it was comedy gold, raking in an estimated 60 million dollars at the box office. And more movies followed with European Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Vegas Vacation, and finally a remake starring the kids from the original movie, again called Vacation. I would think, after all of this madness, that the Griswold family would be much better off to stay home and avoid family vacations. But then again, think of how boring things would be for us if we couldn’t live vicariously through the Griswold family and do all of this exciting stuff. It’s a mad, mad, mad world. I’m not a big fan of Chevy Chase as a performer. Much like a said about Will Farrell yesterday, he annoys me. But these movies, originally presented by National Lampoon, are comedy classic gold and Chevy is Clark Griswold. Check them out if you get the chance. Any of them. The Christmas Vacation movie is my personal favorite, but they’re all good. You’ll be glad you did.

And this ends Day 9 of 12 for me. My thanks for reading. Take care of yourself and be careful out there with the Christmas shopping and general craziness. I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas. I’ll see you tomorrow on Day 10. Take care.
