Impact Wrestling Sacrifice 2021: Thoughts & Predictions

Tossing Salt Presents:
Impact Wrestling Sacrifice PPV
Thoughts & Predictions
March 13, 2021

Later tonight, Impact Wrestling will be having their 2021 edition of the Sacrifice pay-per-view. I almost forgot about it, but I found a reference in my notes and said to myself, “Oh shit! I gotta write a prediction column!” So here we are. I’ll keep it short and to the point, but this is a big event for Impact Wrestling with implications not only for Impact, but AEW as well. It’s available for viewing at all normal pay-per-view providers and on Impact+. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Impact Wrestling Champion Rich Swann vs. TNA Champion Moose – Title vs. Title Unification match.

Will we see the unification of the TNA and Impact Championships here? Part of me says yes, but then I start thinking Kenny Omega, the AEW World Champion, also known as “Mr. 69”. He’s not scheduled to be at Sacrifice, but he does have an upcoming match against Swann for the Impact Championship, should Swann still be the champ. Hell, Kenny is a belt collector so it makes sense he’d like to see Swann as a double-champion and then he can go after two titles instead of just one when he faces Swann. Omega gets involved and Swann wins both titles.

Winner and NEW TNA Champion: Rich Swann

Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs. FinJuice.

The Good Brothers will retain their titles. They have too much going on with AEW and the Omega stuff to take the belts away right now. It should be a good match, but there is no doubt in my mind as to who wins in the end.

Winners and STILL Impact Tag Team Champions: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson – The Good Brothers.

Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion TJP vs. Ace Austin.

I know a lot about TJP. I don’t know much about Ace Austin. I’ll just go with my gut here. TJP retains.

Winner and STILL X-Division Champion: TJP

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire ‘N Flava vs. Jordynne Grace and Jazz.

We’re going to see a title change here. How can anyone ever bet against Jazz? She is a true legend and icon and tonight, she adds to her resume as she and Grace become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

Winners and NEW Knockouts Tag Team Champions: Jordynne Grace & Jazz

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. ODB.

Has ODB ever been Knockouts Champion before? I hate to watch her wrestle and slap her boobs around, but I like ODB’s character. Hell, she was even on Sammy Guevera’s VLOG a few weeks ago. That was way cool. But cool doesn’t win titles and neither does having big boobs unless you’re also screwing the boss. No title change here. I just don’t see it.

Winner and STILL Knockouts Champion: Deonna Purrazzo

Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb with A K vs. Neveah & Havok.

I haven’t been following this story so I have no idea about much of anything with these ladies. My gut says that Dashwood & Kaleb will win here. I don’t know why, but I’ll go with the gut.

Winners: Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb w/ AK.

Eddie Edwards vs. Brian Myers – Hold Harmless Match – Anything Goes, No Rules.

Brian Myers has pretty much made a career out of not winning matches. Eddie Edwards was getting a big push not long ago and I can’t see Impact doing anything to allow him to look too weak. I think the safe bet here is Mr. Edwards.

Winner: Eddie Edwards

Decay vs. Reno Scum.

Why do I feel like this match is probably sponsored by Lysol and Clorox? I don’t know much about Decay, but I’ve been seeing Reno Scum around for a while. I don’t know what the story is here or why this match is happening, but I’ll go with the Scum. It wouldn’t be the first time. Hi Danny. Scum wins.

Winner: Reno Scum

James Storm & Chris Sabin with Jake Something vs. Deaner & Joe Doering with Eric Young.

All I have to say here is for Deaner, Doering, and Mr. Young. Sorry about your damn luck. Storm and Sabin win.

Winners: James Storm & Chris Sabin w/ Jake Something

And there you go. My predictions. Any comments, thoughts, or questions, give me a shout, and let’s chat. My thanks for reading. Have a great one, stay safe and take care. I’ll see you at the matches.
