Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz, Jake Hager & versus DX (HHH, HBK, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn & X-Pac) – who wins?
This would be a fun match of epic proportions and just imagine the match-ups. Ortiz & Santana versus The New Age Outlaws. Jericho versus HHH. Hager versus HBK. Sammy versus X-Pac. All main event matches in their own right thrown together in a battle of the top faction of AEW versus the best unit of the WWE Attitude Era. I would love to see this and since all parties involved are still in wrestling shape and relatively healthy, maybe we will when Tony Khan decides to cut his losses and get out of wrestling and WWE buys AEW up in a couple of years. Okay, maybe not. But this is a dream match by anyone’s standards. And who would win? DX of course, and if you’re not down with that, two words for you.
Who is the best Armstrong brother?
Brad, Scott, Steve, and Road Dogg all had good careers and were talented in the ring, but who was the best? As far as in-the-ring wrestling goes, I think Brad was the most talented and could have a five-star match with a cow. But when it came to personality and talking, the nod goes to The Road Dogg, Jesse James Armstrong, aka Brian. And if you didn’t know, your ass better call somebody.
Is Daniel Bryan gone from WWE for good?
I don’t think so. I think he’s just resting and healing up and when the time is right, he’ll be back and working part-time doing what he does best, entertaining the fans and showing the world what the American Dragon is all about. With the return of live audiences to WWE and live touring, I don’t think Bryan will stay away long or go anywhere.
Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of midget wrestlers?
This is a tough one, but off the top of my head, I’d go with Lord Littlebrook, Diamond Lil’, Hornswoggle, and El Torito.
Where is R-Truth?
Hanging out in catering, making fun little videos for TikTok, and chilling with his baby, the WWE 24/7 title, until WWE Creative and Vince decide that our TV needs some true entertainment to break out the stupidity and monotony.
Does Sable belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?
While I’m not a personal fan of Rena Mero, there is no doubt that for her time in the business, she made an impact and was a big star. She belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame and it’s not a case of if, but just when. I think she’ll go into the Hall whenever Brock Lesnar, her husband, does. It’ll be a two-for-one Induction weekend.
Thoughts on Thunderbolt Patterson?
How this man drew money, I have no idea, but if you look at the history of Georgia, the Mid-Atlantic region, and Florida, Patterson drew fans and put butts in the seats. He was incoherent as a promo and you never knew what he was talking about and he sucked in the ring as a performer, but he had something, an aura about him if you will, and the fans would fill the arenas to see him perform. Most of his promos left me scratching my head more than anything, but for the ’70s and ’80s, he was a big star and I can’t deny that.
Whatever happened to No Way Jose?
Levis Valenzuela, aka No Way Jose, was a star with the WWE and NXT, but was released in April 2020 due to budget cuts and Covid-19. And since then, I have no idea where he is or what he’s been doing. He was taking Indy bookings under the name Levy Valenz, but he has yet to return to the national spotlight or any of the bigger promotions.
Is “zowie wowie” the new “woo woo woo – you know it”?
Woo woo woo – you know it! Sorry Bray, but as the character of The Fiend and the stupidity of that gimmick has developed, all things associated with the Firefly Funhouse have become stale and lame.
Should Fandango & Tyler Breeze be brought back up to the main roster in WWE?
If they were to get used often and in a serious manner, Fandango and Breeze are two very talented wrestlers with great characters who could really add some life and depth to the RAW tag team roster and make things far more interesting, but most likely, they would be considered a joke and wasted by the WWE Creative team. For the time being, it’s probably better for both men to remain where they’re at, down at NXT, helping to develop the stars of tomorrow.
