It’s more catch-up time as I address several questions about the world’s greatest sport… and WWE. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Do you think Bryan Danielson is will be the one to beat Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title?

Nope, I don’t think he’s the one. I think that the all but forgotten Adam Pearce will still be the one to have that honor. Danielson and Omega will have some great matches and spike the ratings a bit for AEW, but when it comes time to do that title switch, I think that Pearce will be the man that finally gets the job done.

With the current roster at AEW, do you think Andrade has been somewhat swept under the rug?

It’s a large roster of big names and Andrade seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle, but with the big victory this past Friday night on Rampage and his turning on mentor Chavo Guerrero in order to possibly make room for his father-in-law, The Woo Daddy, I think he’s starting and ready to move up the roster and make more of an impact.

There was some fan backlash about Sholes v. Diamante not being televised. With such a loaded roster, how do you suspect AEW can make time to elevate the women’s division.

If the wrestlers are requested by the fans and are getting a reaction, AEW will find a way. They have two television shows and a YouTube show so there is plenty of time to make sure that the wrestlers that the fans want to see get their opportunities. You just have to have some patience.

How do you see the Dark Order resolving their issues? Is this a Bray Wyatt build-up or does -1 come out and break their asses?

I have no doubt that -1 can probably kick the asses of the majority of the AEW roster, but I doubt that is the direction that AEW is looking to take their resident group of wrestling misfits. Bray Wyatt showing up to take control makes far more sense of the two options you mentioned.

Do you think Eddie Kingston could win the TNT Championship and then lose it to Adam Cole down the line, or do you think Cole and the Bucks will be the first Trios Champions?

For some reason, I don’t see Cole as being too concerned with the TNT title at this time and point of his new AEW career. The idea of Cole and The Bucks as the first Trios Champions, I like that idea much better. I’d rather see The Jurassic Express have that honor, but Cole & The Bucks is pretty good too.

Wouldn’t Bray Wyatt be better booked like Abdullah the Butcher back in the day? Unless he develops a completely different character than the Fiend/Wyatt Family stuff, it seems like his novelty wears quickly.

The original Bray Wyatt character had a lot of appeals and was well done except for when WWE creative decided to tweak it and thus lessen the appeal. An Abdullah-like character would be interesting for a short run, but there was a reason that Abby never stayed in a single territory for long. It’s an attraction to be sure, but it gets old fast. Let Windham Rotundo do a character more like Bray Wyatt or even something totally new and different and it’d have a better chance of getting over with today’s audience.

Will Ospreay was on Instagram telling people if AEW guys want to wrestle him, come knock on his door. He’s not going to them. Who do you think will be the first to knock on his door?

I think AEW will be the first to knock. I remember CM Punk talking about how he’d like to wrestle Ospreay at some point if he ever returned to wrestling and I’m sure that Tony Khan heard the same interview. So Ospreay versus Punk, versus Bryan Danielson, or even versus Omega are all dream matches that AEW could make happen. I think that eventually, they will do just that.

There are many wrestlers such as Colt Cabana that do not wrestle on television shows but mostly on Dark. Do they keep them around as teachers and mentors?

They can help teach and mentor the younger talent, they know the business inside and out, and they often have roles in developing stories and working to develop a more strong and consistent policy. A talent like Colt Cabana is far more than just another wrestler for a growing company like AEW.

How would you book Adam Cole as Keith Lee’s manager?

I wouldn’t and it’s a stupid idea. Next question, please.

Have they over-exposed Jungle Boy and Orange Cassidy?

I don’t think so and to be honest, I think Jungle Boy is getting ready to get a rocket strapped to his back and a major push from the company. In recent weeks, he’s been interacting more with The Elite, CM Punk, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson. Orange is being used just right, not too often, but enough to satisfy his fans, but for Jungle Boy, the sky is the limit and he’s fixing to take that ride to the stars.

When does Big E cash in and on whom?

I would have him cash in on Lashley and have a big New Day reunion moment. As for when, how about at Extreme Rules?

Thoughts on an Austin Theory call-up?

I would love to see it and I would also put him back with Zelina Vega in the process. His first call-up to the main roster was too short, but he showed promise and he and Vega had great chemistry as a team. This guy has charisma and a presence about him and even when he’s annoying, you kind of want to like him. I think he could be a solid mid-card performer on the main roster if booked correctly and given the chance. I would love to see WWE do just that.

And here you go. That’s all for today. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions, feel free and drop me a line. Until the next time, take care and stay safe. Don’t forget to support your local Indy Wrestling promotions and wrestlers. I’ll see you at the matches.
