Questions You’ve Always Wanted To Ask A Gay Person

This has been sitting in a folder waiting to be written for close to a year now, but I never followed up on it because it never felt like the right time and I didn’t want to turn off my readers or scare off the wrestling & drinking fans. But guess what? Fuck it! I’m in a bad place and need to lighten the mood a bid and guess what else? We’re all adults here and anyone doesn’t like what I write or is offended by the topic matter, leave. It’s just that simple. Or you can read, laugh a little bit, say to yourself that “that dude is a freakin’ nut”, and then go read something else. That’s up to you. I’m trying to clear out some of the clutter and so here we go. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. These questions come from Reddit! The answers are from me. And the views and eye-rolling, that’s all you. Let’s do this.

Do you know fairly reliably if a guy you meet is also gay?

If you mean the infamous “gaydar” that we’re all supposed to have, then no because mine is out of order and has been for quite a while. I look for other signs like rubbing themselves in my presence, talking about how “they’re not gay”, but then ask explicit questions about gay activities, how friendly they’re acting and if it’s far more than a friendly/buddy way, and how naked they or are trying to be, and when they outright ask for some head or sex. If all of that is going on, I think they might at least be curious.

Do you have to deal with a lot of homophobic people?

Probably, but I don’t notice or care. I’m comfortable enough with myself and I think that most people are comfortable enough with me, plus I’m a straight-forward type of guy, so the homophobes just avoid me or tolerate me. If homophobia is involved, it’s not my problem.

Do the balls touch?

Only when ball-touching activities are involved, or if you’re trying to see how many will fit. Then it may happen there as well.

My wife’s brother is gay and I’ve always wanted to ask him how does spontaneity works?

Spontaneity works by a rash decision being made, damn the consequences, and what the hell, go for it, takes place. Like meeting a guy and ten minutes later, you’re in the laundry room on your knees. If it feels right, do it. ‘Nuff said!

How often do you get crushes on straight guys? Is that a common thing and if so, what do you do about it?

I get crushes on straight guys all the time. If a guy is good-looking, friendly, has a personality, has a brain, and I find them attractive, I get a crush. But for me, that’s all it is, just a friendly crush. I might make the occasional suggestive comment or lewd remark, but any guy who is around me for any length of time is going to get that at some point. That’s my personality and the way I am, but I value friendship and respect over a quick booty call so if I know a guy isn’t interested or that he has a serious relationship going on, I’m respectful of that. I’ll still think they’re sexy and I’ll still use innuendo and lewd remarks to get a reaction every so often, but it’s done in fun and friendship instead of anything serious.

Can you tell if another guy is gay or bi? Have you ever been wrong?

If they start taking off their pants, they’re probably gay, bi, curious, or just horny and looking for some fun. Yeah, I’ve been wrong before, but by the time the pants are coming off, it’s a pretty sure thing.

Do girls really feel more comfortable around gay guys than straight guys?

It seems that way. They know the gay guys don’t want anything from them and aren’t looking for sex. With straight guys, even if it’s not always the case, there seems like there is an ulterior motive going on and with the gay guys, the women don’t have to worry about that.

What does it feel like to be on the bottom?

Pretty damn good actually, if the guy knows what he’s doing.

Sexually, are you more attracted to the penis or the butthole?

Both are awesome, but to be totally honest here, I’m definitely more of an ass-man. Just bury my face between their cheeks and motor-boat. Ooops. Was that too much information? My bad! I can work with whatever is presented to me and do it well, and I damn well guarantee that we’ll both have a good time.

How did you know you were gay?

I kept getting attracted to guys while finding females kind of bleh! And that’s when I knew.

Do you feel there is a difference in what women find attractive in men as opposed to what gay guys find attractive in men?

I can’t speak for women or other guys as to what’s attractive. For me, it’s the eyes, the butt, the smile, and mostly, the personality and character of the person I’m looking at. Different guys have different strong points of appeal. The only thing definite for me is to be real. The rest will work itself out in the wash.
