Coming up on Thursday, live from Saudi Arabia and airing on the WWE Network and Peacock is WWE Crown Jewel. Normally, I’d wait until Wednesday night to make my predictions, but given that I won’t have access to a computer and will be incapacitated for few days starting tomorrow morning, I wanted to go ahead and get this done. So let’s break out the Crystal Ball and do some of that Sister Cleo stuff. It’s prediction time. Let’s do this.

Universal Championship — Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

Even more intriguing than the Universal Championship being on the line is where will Paul Heyman end up and what side will he take, that of his Tribal Cheif Roman Reigns or that of The Beast Brock Lesnar. And to be honest, I don’t think we’ll find out for sure yet at Crown Jewel. This story has a long way to go and is, in my opinion, just starting to gain momentum. If we don’t get Roman versus The Rock at Wrestlemania, then it’ll be Roman and Brock, one more time. And for that reason, this one won’t be a clean finish. We will see bits and pieces and some teasing of Heyman’s loyalty to both men, but the ultimate question of who is the real Paul Heyman guy, that one will remain a question waiting to be answered, at least if WWE is smart. As for this match, Roman keeps the title and manages to steal a win, but just barely, most likely with the help of The Usos. Roman wins and keeps his title while Brock feels cheated and starts looking for revenge at a later date.

Winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Roman Reigns

SmackDown Women’s Championship — Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks

This one could really go any direction and it wouldn’t matter too much. I think we’ll get the happy ending and big moment for Bianca as she manages to sneak a win over Sasha to win Becky’s title. Becky stays strong and didn’t actually get beaten, but Bianca gets the big moment and we get to see Round 2 of the Bianca show.

Winner and NEW WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion: Bianca Belair

WWE Championship — Big E (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

Big E is just starting to grow into what the WWE wants as a champion and in my opinion, it’s too early to lose the belt. Drew and E will have a slobber-knocker of a match and it will be full of thrills, chills, and near falls, but in the end, the belt stays right where it’s at.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Big E

Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg (No Disqualification)

Guess who’s next to take that trip to the loser’s dressing room? That’s right. Goldberg. Lashley dominates and even though Goldberg will get a few shots in, it’s the time of the Oh Mighty One.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Seth Rollins vs. Edge (Hell in a Cell)

Edge versus Seth. This should be a good and brutal affair, but I think Edge needs to take this one. Didn’t Seth win the last one? Time to tie it up and then go for a rubber match at the Royal Rumble. Sounds like a plan to me.

Winner: Edge

Raw Tag Team Championship — RK-Bro (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos

I’m not sure about this one because I can see WWE going either way, but I think it’s time to push Omos more as a singles star and it’s time for AJ to get back into title contention as a singles star as well. Look for Randy and Riddle to keep the titles.

Winners and STILL WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: Team RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle)

King of the Ring finals: Xavier Woods vs. Finn Balor

I have long wanted to see Xavier Woods get a push as a singles star and winning the King of the Ring tournament would be a great way to get things going. It’s hard to picture anyone beating Balor in a match this important, but think that Woods is the man here and this is his time.

Winner and NEW WWE King Of The Ring: Xavier Woods

Queen’s Crown finals: Zelina Vega vs. Doudrop

I would love to see Vega win here and I wish she would, but let’s be honest, Doudrop is going to be the winner. It’s to be the Queen of the Ring and the stories, the comedy and situations with Doudrop just write themselves. Vega should win, but when that smoke clears and the crown is placed on the head of the new Queen, it’ll be Doudrop wearing it.

Winner and NEW WWE Queen Of The Ring: Doudrop

Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali

Mansoor is the local boy and hometown favorite and unlike most other hometown favorites in WWE, this one will get to win his match. Don’t want to piss off the King, right?

Winner: Mansoor

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, questions, thoughts, and any predictions of your own are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and stay safe. And when I get back in action, I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
