It’s Saturday and you know what that means. Cartoons on TV. No wait, that was thirty years ago. Now it’s just reruns of Seinfield and Rosanne. Let’s talk pro wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Shout out to Brent. You de’ man, my brutha! Let’s do this.
What are three things you would like to see happen in AEW before the end of the year?
Arn Anderson giving Cody a spine buster in the middle of that ring, Marko Stunt being tossed into the side of a trailer like a lawn dart, and a war of words between CM Punk and MJF.
What do you honestly think will become of Bray Wyatt?
I think that Windham Rotundo will pick his spot, wait for the right moment, and then show up at a show in New Japan, causing the internet to blow up, and then vanish again only to pop up in AEW and engage in a classic feud with former partner Matt Hardy.
Do you think KO will resign with WWE or go to AEW?
It’s a tough call, but I think Kevin Owens will more likely stick with the WWE. The roster over at AEW is filling up pretty quickly and getting kind of bloated, but WWE is good money and pretty good job security for a few of the top guys, of which Owens is one.
What is your favorite match that CM Punk has had in AEW so far?
Of the matches he’s had so far, I’m thinking the debut with Darby was the best one, but to be honest, after that promo the other night with Eddie Kingston, I’m very much looking forward to their match at Full Gear.
If you could be the manager of any wrestler or tag team who would you choose?
I’ll stick with currently active wrestlers just to keep this answer semi-relevant. I’d want an Army, probably at Impact/AEW (that forbidden door is still open, right?) with Matt Cardona, Heath, Taylor Rotundo (Bo Dallas), Joe Hennig (Curtis Axel), and Chelsea Green. Matt and Jow would be my singles guys while Heath and Bo would be my tag team and Chelsea would kick ass in the Women’s Division. And for the hell of it, Lisa “Ivory” Moretti could be brought in as my co-manager/assistant. Just think of a modern-day equivalent of the Dangerous Alliance. We would kick ass.
Bill & Ted or Wayne’s World?
Bill & Ted by far. Wayne’s World is not worthy and is, in my opinion, definitely bogus.
Who do you think has the biggest dark horse potential to win the Royal Rumble matches this year?
I think, for the men, Cesaro is one to keep an eye on. Either he or WALTER. As for the women, where is the Empress? I think we’ll see the return of Asuka and another big moment for this incredible woman.
Which of the younger guys in AEW do you think has the biggest potential?
Sammy Guevera, Ricky Starks, Fuego Del Sol and MJF are the ones who stand out the most to me.
What do you think of the idea of Darby Allin being Sting’s last match when he’s finally ready to hang it up for good?
Given their history together thus far in AEW, that sounds like a definite plan and a good idea. It’d be a good match and makes sense, so Sting versus Darby? I’d say yes.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you’d like to see answered, wrestling or otherwise, feel free and drop me a line. Until the next time, stay safe and be good. I’ll see you at the matches.
