It’s time to do that wrestling thing. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s get busy and do this.

Did you prefer Tommy Rich as a babyface or a heel?

When I first saw Tommy wrestle, he was the ultimate baby-face in Georgia, the underdog who always took a beating, but fought the good fight. And then he went to Memphis and caught the attitude, fighting Jerry Lawler, teaming with Austin Idol, and telling the fans to go to hell. And since then, he’s gone back and forth with heel runs in ECW and WCW, and working as a face all across the country. And personally, I prefer the heel version of Tommy Rich. He always seemed to be having more fun and was far more believable as a heel than the woe-is-me babyface. Give me the bad-guy Tommy anytime.

Does Sable belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Sable was never a favorite of mine and the one time I met her in person, she was rude, unhappy, and obviously didn’t want to be there signing autographs and taking pictures. I’ll never be a big fan, but that being said, she did make an impact during her short time in the WWF and she was arguably one of the WWF’s biggest stars for that era. And especially when compared to many of the others already part of the WWE Hall of Fame, she definitely is deserving of a spot.

The Original Blackjacks, Mulligan & Lanza versus The New Blackjacks (Barry Windham & JBL). Who wins?

Always go with the originals and the best. Mulligan and Lanza taught Barry and JBL a lot, but they didn’t teach them everything. Mulligan and Lanza would declare that school is in session and give the kids a spanking.

Hannibal, the one who does the interviews, attacked referee Lando Deltoro with a metal spike and messed him up really bad. Have you seen this story and what do you think about it?

I’ve seen it and watched the video, as well as listened to Hannibal’s “explanation” about what happened. It’s everyone’s fault, but his. It was an accident and a spot gone wrong. Woe is me, blah, blah, blah! Hannibal is a lame-ass piece of shit, period. He claims that he didn’t realize that he was hurting the ref, but he was repeatedly jabbing a metal spike into his head to draw blood, and then, once that was achieved, kept going. The only “accident” was that referee trusting Hannibal to take care of him. Hannibal crossed the line, needs to be criminally charged, and if not that, at least have his passport revoked so that piece of crap can stay in Canada and not be allowed to work in the U.S. again. It’s clowns like that who give pro wrestling a bad name and the sooner he’s removed from pro wrestling, be it through legal means or maybe a receipt from some of the boys, the better.

When/if Jeff Hardy goes to AEW, should they immediately team him up with brother Matt or should they hold off on that for a while?

I would say that if and when Jeff goes to AEW, that they let him do his own thing for a while first, and then when he and Matt finally do team up, it’ll be a bigger event and be for a purpose. I’m sure that AEW will rush it and bring Jeff in to immediately team with Matt and settle a grudge against the Young Bucks or some other team, but I’d prefer to see them go with the tease first and build the anticipation.

All the recent criminal charges against Alberto Del Rio were dismissed. Should AEW, Impact, or WWE try to bring him in?

Nope. Del Rio is trouble with a capital “T” and in my opinion, no major company should use or touch him. He and Hannibal should go off to a deserted island and interview or rape each other repeatedly and never be heard from again. The wrestling business and the world, in general, would be much better for it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
