In a world full of questions, sometimes it’s hard to find the right answers. I found five questions on my Twitter timeline. And now, I’ll provide the answers. It’s 5 Questions and it all begins right now.

Have you ever been fishing for sharks?

While I do remember walking on the pier at the beach and seeing person after person fishing and pulling in the small sand sharks, it’s not something I’ve ever chosen to do. I enjoy fishing for the relaxation and beer drinking aspects of it and going after sharks just doesn’t seem too relaxing for me. And besides, I’ve seen Jaws. I ain’t messing with no damn shark. Them things bite.

What is the most intense and excruciating pain you’ve ever experienced?

So many choices here. Was it watching people I love die? Was it being cheated on and lied to by a man I thought I was in love with? Was it being fired from a job I enjoyed for the stupidest of reasons. Was it one of the many times I’ve sat here, overthinking, with the weight of the world on my shoulders? Was it giving everything to a friend only for them to walk away without a second thought? Was it the recent amputation of my foot and the realization that most likely, I’ll spend the majority of the rest of my life in a wheelchair? Hell, not being able to see my best friend in person in over a month. So many options and all of them hurt and hurt badly. It’s hard to choose just one so I’ll go with all of the above.

Who would want to be a cop these days?

Honestly, I don’t know anyone who would want to be a cop anymore. It was once an honored and respected occupation and now, because of slanted media, the widespread stupidity that’s taken over the land, the insanity, and lies against our boys in blue, getting into that line of work is asking to be treated as a second-rate person and hated by the very people they’re trying to protect. Yes, there are some bad cops, but the majority are good people trying to do a good job and there is no appreciation for the work they do. It sucks!

Is there a Christmas song more irritating than Bruce Springsteen’s “Santa Claus is comin’ to town”?

Yes, there is. This one.

What is something you have to remind yourself about every day?

To take my medications. I remember, but then I forget just as quickly. And that’s really all I can think of.
