Good morning friends and welcome to the show. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and we have a lot of ground to cover so no time for chit-chat. Let’s do this.

If you could give reality shows to any four WWE talents, who would they be?

WWE has really done well with their venture into reality TV, with Total Divas, Total Bellas, and of course, Miz & Mrs, so it would make sense to keep the ball rolling and add a few more to the schedule. As for who I’d choose, my picks would be Brock Lesnar for one. Brock is known to be a very private person but is married to former WWE Diva Sable. That would be interesting to see. Becky & Seth would make for another great show as they raise a kid, juggle their careers, etc. My third choice would be The Mysterios, With Ray and Dominick both WWE talents and the whole father-son dynamic, it could make for some interesting TV. And lastly, how about a reality show with Triple H & Steph? Hunter Knows Best. Admit it, you’d watch.

Is Robert Stone still in NXT?

According to Wikipedia, the former Robbie E. is still under contract to the WWE and part of the NXT roster, although I can not recall the last time I saw him on NXT television. I just checked and his last appearance was in July where he recruited Mercedes Martinez, who now works for AEW, into his Robert Stone Brand, to attack Shotzi Blackheart, who is now on the main roster. So he’s still in WWE and has managed to survive the talent cuts thus far. I’m guessing they’ve just forgotten he’s there and he’s hiding out in catering, collecting a check and hoping no one remembers.

Word is that WWE is interested in having AEW star MJF as a surprise for the Royal Rumble. If this was to happen, highly unlikely, how would you book MJF’s appearance?

If Tony Khan and AEW were to agree to have MJF as part of the Royal Rumble, I’d make it a package deal with another top AEW star. Just picture this. MJF shows up and enters the Rumble. He and Miz have a face-off at some point during the night, but that’s secondary to the Rumble match. But keeping with current AEW storylines and his character, MJF enters the Rumble. He does a couple of eliminations of some low-card talents, and then here is CM Punk. He enters the ring, eliminates MJF, and then leaves, exiting through the crowd and blowing MJF a kiss as he leaves. This keeps the story that he’s going to keep MJF from winning any matches alive, gives the crowd one hell of a surprise, blows the internet up, and gives Punk one last big moment in WWE. As I said, not likely to happen, but just imagine. “What if?”.

If WWE and AEW reach a deal and some AEW talents are part of the Royal Rumble match, who do you think it would be?

If any AEW wrestlers do appear as part of the Royal Rumble, most likely it would be former WWE talents who have a good relationship with Vince and would be trusted to make their appearance and not have anyone worried about them going into business for themselves. My guesses would be either Chris Jericho or since his wife and sister-in-law have already been announced as part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, Bryan Danielson. Jon Moxley would be a possibility too.

What would be your dream matches for Hook?

Hook really hasn’t been around long enough and doesn’t have enough experience to start booking dream matches yet, but I would like to see him and Sammy Guevera go at it in AEW. Hook versus Dante Martin would be a good match to see as well and what the since, since he’s wrestling everyone in the NWA, Impact Wrestling, and GCW, who not have Hook versus Matt Cardona. That could be a fun match to see.

Nikita Koloff and Magnum TA. Do they belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Neither man ever worked for WWE, but both were big stars in the ’80s who remain popular with the fans even today and were true, legit big names and top guys for their era of wrestling, so I would say a definite yes.

Steel Cage Match: The Mighty Igor versus The Mongolian Stomper. Who wins?

I think someone is either very old or looking through old magazines to come up with this match, but it’s all good because I’m old and although it was towards the end of his career, I well remember the Mighty Igor. And as for the Stomper, I remember hearing about him in the Apter mags. Igor was amazingly strong but portrayed more as a simpleton than a great wrestler. Stomper was just brutality and brawling and of course, stomping. This would probably be a good match to see. As for who wins, Igor’s biggest feud that I remember is against Masked Superstar in the Crockett territory, and against Bulldog Brower everywhere else. If Igor could beat those two, he could definitely beat the Mongolian Stomper. Igor wins.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
