It’s more chaotic than Jim Cornette at a Dairy Queen Drive-Thru. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and it all starts now. Let’s do this.

If you were starting your own wrestling company, which 5 current wrestlers and 2 tag teams would you sign up first?

I would assume that the wrestlers currently under contract to WWE and AEW are off-limits, right? I wouldn’t want any legal issues right off the top so let’s go with that. So for my five wrestlers, how about Cody Rhodes, Windham Rotundo (Bray Wyatt), Tessa Blanchard, Carlito & EC3. My tag teams would be a local team, the Atlantic Coast Destruction Crew (AC/DC), and the team formerly known as the B-Team (Taylor Rotundo & Joe Henning). And I’d make an offer to William Regal to come aboard as the principal booker/figurehead, etc.

With the guarantee that it would be well made, what wrestler’s career or wrestling storyline would you love to see made into a movie?

Right off the top of my head, how about Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory. From being a cheerleader to GLOW to POWW to the WWE to the Hall of Fame. There probably aren’t enough scandals for most people, but I’d watch it.

What 3 AEW wrestlers do you think could have the best match with The Hitman in his prime?

Going against Bret Hart in his prime, I’d go with the obvious choices. It’d be Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Chris Jericho.

Since Damien Priest has officially turned heel as of last night, who do you think his storyline opponent will be after he loses to Finn Balor at Mania?

After the story with Balor runs its course, how about a nice little feud with Bobby Lashley. That could be good for both of them.

Which wrestler do you always point to as having the most wasted potential (ever)? Whether injury, usage, or other (coughJeffHardycough).

I always thought that former TNA/ current NWA star Crimson (Anthony Mayweather) had the look and “it factor” to be a big star, but he’s always seemed to cruise near the top, but never quite making to the next level. WWE wasted Cesaro, as we have all seen so well documented over the past week or so, and Bo Dallas, based on how he was booked in NXT, and then differently booked when he came to the WWE main roster, it’s a shame.

Do you think Cody is still in very much cahoots (or how you spell it) with AEW and will be the main part of the ROH invasion if there is one?

Well, as announced last night, Tony Khan has bought ROH and is expanding his wrestling empire. Is Cody in collusion with Tony? I don’t think so, but if I was Tony, or Cody for that matter, with this new development, I’d be making some phone calls and be reopening contract talks. Tony doesn’t have the time to book two promotions on a national level at the same time, and hell, Cody has already shown he can be a major asset so, let’s see what happens.

Do you feel there is any way T-Bar/Donovan Dijakovic character can be salvaged in his current run?

It’s simple really. Just have him demand TV time, cut a killer-ass promo, throw down that stupid mask, and kick some butt repeatedly until the past is forgotten and people start getting interested and excited for the character. It’s simple wrestling booking 101 and Dijakovic is a very talented wrestler. Just a little effort and push from management and he is absolutely salvagable.

With the unification match set for WrestleMania, how long do you think the unification will last until they decide to separate the titles once again? Should the brand split continue?

It might last five/six weeks at the most before we have two titles again. I think the brand split should be ended, but Fox and USA Network both want separate brands and rosters for their shows so it’ll continue. After all, they pay too much money to do otherwise.

Cactus Jack vs Terry Funk vs Sabu vs Abdullah the Butcher vs New Jack vs Bruiser Brody.

If there’s no referee to at least declare a winner, how do you know who wins? This would be bloodbath central for sure. New Jack would try to kill Abdullah the Butcher legit, while Sabu and Cactus are better at taking bumps than delivering. Brody is a monster, but in the end, only one man could truly stand supreme. I’d have to go with Terry Funk.
