Climbing the ladder more than Razor and HBK at Wrestlemania 10, it’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? I said, ARE YOU READY? Let’s do this.
Who believed their own hype more? Warrior or Ryback?
Both were and are known for spouting out propaganda, total absolute B.S., and garbage at a moment’s notice, but who is the worst offender? The Warrior at least made considerable money spouting out his hogwash and even though he was a douche, I think he at least believed what he was saying and was speaking from his twisted little heart, as scary as that seems to be. Ryback? He’s just a prick, a douche, and is trying to generate heat to seem relevant like he’s one of the cool kids even though we all know he’s a poser, a punk, and wishes he had a fifth of the talent or abilities that the people he goes after had. So Warrior believed his trash, while Ryback isn’t even real in that aspect. He’s just trying to be a bad-ass, but failing miserably, just as he does with everything he does. That’s my opinion anyhow.
Thoughts & memories of Killer Tim Brooks?
I remember Brooks mainly from the Apter mags, but I did see him as part of Georgia Championship Wrestling, where he “sold” the National Championship to Larry Zbyszko, and also for a cameo of sorts in the Mid-Atlantic area where he portrayed Blackjack Mulligan’s “Cousin Luke” and laid out Ox Baker on television with a boot. A solid worker who, I believe, spent a lot of time in Texas, and while was rarely “the man” in any territory, he would always make an impact, be a brutal bad guy for a few months, and then move on. A true wrestling icon and legend of the territory days.
Hulk Hogan said that Jinder Mahal could be the next generation’s Hulk Hogan with the right push. Agree or disagree?
With the right push and some good booking, Jinder could be a top guy for the WWE or any company, in my opinion, but the next Hulk Hogan? I think Hogan was just being nice since Jinder showed up at Hogan’s restaurant for some photo ops. Jinder could be a good top guy, but the next Hogan? Can you imagine Jindermania running wild? No, I can’t either. Sorry J-Man, but wearing red and yellow is not where I think your best options or future lay.
Who wins: AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels versus The New Day?
Which two wrestlers are representing the New Day here? If it’s Kofi and Big E, I think the New Day would win. And if it’s Kofi and Xavier, I think the New Day would win. If it’s Xavier and Big E, the win would go to AJ and The Fallen Angel. It doesn’t matter though since it would be an interesting and fun match to see and wins/losses don’t matter all that much. Just the hype and promos would be awesome. But in two out of three matches, I’d have to go with the New Day.
Did you see Bret Hart’s comment about Goldberg? Does he really think Goldberg should send him something since Goldberg is making big money from WWE for the Saudi shows?
I can’t find the quote, but I did see it with Bret saying that Goldberg cost him millions of dollar in two seconds, that Goldberg doesn’t even think about him, and that Goldberg should send him something when he’s still making those big paychecks from Saudi Arabia and the WWE. And my thoughts? That was twenty years ago and Bret needs to give it up, quit being so bitter, and stop whining and complaining. Bret is a sad and miserable soul and he had some bad breaks, but the whole “woe is me” thing got old a long time ago. Goldberg is a goof in many ways and not a favorite of mine by any means, but he didn’t kick Bret in the head intentionally. Accidents happen. And didn’t Bret continue to wrestle for several weeks afterward, including hardcore matches with Terry Funk, repeatedly taking trash can shots to the head? Yes, he did. So Bret is not all without some fault of his own here. Just saying. Bret has plenty of money, a hot wife, a good life living in Hawaii if I recall correctly, and is alive, breathing, and well respected as a true icon and legend. So give the self-pity and crying a rest already. He needs to just relax and enjoy what he has. Enough already. Oy vey!
Sami Zayn versus Mr. Wrestling II. Who wins?
I’m going to make all the old-school wrestling fans mad here, but Sami is faster, more athletic, and far better in the ring than the legendary Rubberman Johnny Walker, aka Mr. Wrestling II, at least in my opinion. If II manages to hit with the kneelift or do a shoot, he’d win, but if it’s just a pro wrestling match of epic proportions, I think Sami would be the booker’s favorite and win.
Do you believe in Fuego Del Sol?
This comes from what Fuego said on Twitter. He said, “CM Punk told me if you believe in every word you say then they will too… so now the question is Do you believe in Fuego Del Sol?”. And yes, I’ve been spouting love for Fuego for over a year now. He’s small, but if Rey Mysterio can be a big star, so can Fuego. He’s got personality, some great moves, and is the Master of the Tornado DDT. And he’s got a great ass. Just ask anyone on the VLOG crew. So yes, I believe in Fuego. He’s a strong talent and has a big future in AEW.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be safe, my friends. Watch out for Seth Rollins or he may try to take your spot at Wrestlemania. I’ll see you at the matches.
