WWE will present their first-ever Clash at the Castle this Saturday 9/3 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Here is my take on what will happen. It’s prediction time.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre.

I’m torn here because I’m so ready to see Roman lose the title and to see the belts separated once more, but I just don’t feel that this should be the time or place to take that belt off of Roman. Well, maybe it is, but is Drew the right guy? No doubt the numbers will be against Drew with the Usos and Sami Zayn there, not to mention Paul Heyman. But Kevin Owens has an issue with Roman, not to mention Theory and the MITB contract. And hell, Tyson Fury will be at ringside so anything can and probably will happen. By the way, rumors are that Windham Rotundo has been spotted in Wales and Braun Strowman is allegedly supposed to be back on RAW Monday night so that just adds to the anything can happen situation. And all of this is speculation. What will happen?

A great fight. Fury counters the Usos and Bray Wyatt makes an appearance, kind of. Roman manages to steal a win and retain his belt, but Theory shows up, cashes in, and gets a win to get the belt, sort of. Theory pins Roman, but the legal mind of Heyman planned ahead and the MITB contract was only for one title, not both. So Theory gets a belt, Roman keeps a belt, all hell breaks loose, and we tune in on Monday to see what happens when the smoke clears.

Winner and STILL Unified Champion: Roman Reigns

MITB Cash-In
Theory versus Roman Reigns

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Theory

And there you go. Let’s move on.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Liv Morgan vs. Shayna Baszler.

Liv is a good wrestler, but she doesn’t belong as the Smackdown Women’s Champion. This match should be Shayna just going psycho and ripping Liv apart, thus setting up a big match between Shayna and Rhonda down the road. Liv should get some moves in so it’s not a total squash, but the outcome shouldn’t be in any doubt.

Winner and NEW WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion: Shayna Baszler

Alexa Bliss & Asuka & Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs. Bayley & Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai.

This one should go to Team Bayley. With their loss in the tag team tournament, they need to get their momentum and heat back, and what better way than to steal a win here? And if Bayley should happen to find a way to pin Bianca, we have our next big program between the two. Sounds like a plan to me.

Winners: Bayley, Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai

Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle.

Based on what we saw Monday night. this one needs to be an absolute brawl from start to finish and we should see the former MMA fighter, a crazy man Matt Riddle, just going nuts trying to take out Seth. Seth can cackle and hold his own for a while, but this one should get out of control quickly. Look for a DQ finish and Seth to get the win as the result. It won’t hurt Riddle at all and will just leave the fans waiting in anticipation of more.

Winner (by DQ): Seth Rollins

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER vs. Sheamus.

This one is going to be stiff as hell and a trip to pound & ground city. Both men will be feeling this match for a while afterward. As for who wins, WALTER is on fire and the future. Yes, I know I called him by his old name. He may be GUNTHER to the WWE, but will always be WALTER to me. And WALTER will get the win here to retain his title.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: GUNTHER

Edge & Rey Mysterio with Dominik Mysterio vs. The Judgement Day’s Finn Balor & Damian Priest with Rhea Ripley.

Edge won in Canada so Judgement Day is going over here. I’d look for some miscommunication with Dominick to end up costing Rey & Edge the match, and we’ll probably see more of Rhea beating up Dominick. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Beth Phoenix show up to set up a program between Beth & Rhea. It has to freakin’ happen. But anyhow, so far as this match goes, The Judgement Day is taking home the win.

Winners: The Judgement Day

And is that all? I expect a few more matches will be added at the last second, plus there will be lots of craziness and action happening all around the arena. This should be a damn good show. So what are your predictions? Who is winning? Who is losing? Who is showing up as a surprise? We’ll find out tomorrow night.

Well, with that, it’s time to call it a day and go. Time to go to work. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good. I’ll see you at the Castle.
