Impact Wrestling will present their 2022 Victory Road PPV this Friday 9/23 from Nashville, TN at Skyway Studios on Impact+ and FITE.TV. Of course, that means it’s prediction time. Let’s do this.

Barbed Wire Massacre: Moose vs. Steve Maclin vs. Sami Callihan.

This will be the bloodbath of the evening. I’m not sure of the storyline leading up to this match or what’s been going on with Moose, Maclin, and Callihan as of late, but both men can go and I am sure this match will be, as Jim Ross would say a slobber knocker. Hard to pick a winner, but I think this is Maclin’s time to shine. I’ll go with him.

Winner: Steve Maclin

Impact Wrestling Champion Josh Alexander & Heath Miller & Rich Swann vs. Eddie Edwards & Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The OGK with Maria Kanellis.

Easy pick here for anyone who knows me and has been reading my stuff for any length of time. Heath has kids. According to Dusty Rhodes back in the day, it was the winners who get to take that trip to the pay window. Kids cost money, thus Heath’s team has to win. And there you go.

Winners: Josh Alexander, Heath Miller & Rich Swann

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace vs. Masha Slamovich’s handpicked opponent for her, Max the Impaler with James Mitchell.

I haven’t been a fan of Jordynne Grace since her ignorant comments about Chris Benoit a few months ago. I’ve always been a fan of James Mitchell since his early days with ECW, plus I just like that name, Max the Impaler. I think we’re getting a new Knockouts Champion.

Winner and NEW Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion: Max The Impaler w/ James Mitchell.

Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion Mike Bailey vs. Delirious.

Delirious is a really good talent and made a name for himself originally in ROH. Mike Bailey though has really just started coming into his own and is, I believe, in for a long, strong, and hard push with Impact, and it’s very well deserved. I don’t see any title changes here.

Winner and STILL Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion: Mike Bailey

Gisele Shaw vs Mickie James.

Mickie James is a legend. Legends do not lose.

Winner: Mickie James

Tasha Steelz with Savannah Evans vs. Killer Kelly.

I don’t much care for Tasha Steele, but Killer Kelly is a dumb name that sounds like something from the WWE version of ECW. But come to think of it, the WWECW chick did get put into the WWE Hall of Fame a few years ago so she must have had something going for her. Maybe this chick does too.

Winner: Killer Kelly

Triple Threat Revolver: Kenny King vs. Laredo Kid vs. Alex Zayne vs. Trey Miguel vs. Black Taurus vs. Yuya Uemura vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Mia Yim – winner to challenge for X-Division title at Bound for Glory.

Just reading all the names involved in this match is making my head spin. Is Vince Russo back booking for Impact Wrestling now? Everyone here has skills, but most of the names can be tossed out pretty easily because they’re not going to win. Why not? Because Trey Miguel is going to win. ‘Nuff said!

Winner: Trey Miguel

And there you go. I won’t be watching this show because I’ll be too busy on Friday night trying to see if we’re following the buzzards and letting HIM in on Friday Night Smackdown instead, but this is still a solid show and I’ll be keeping track online as it happens.

So what about the predictions? Am I right? Am I wrong? What are your predictions? Let me know. And with that, I’m out of here. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts, or questions are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be good, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
