It’s Monday. Let’s talk wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

With War Games coming up if you could build your own 5 man team using a guy from each promotion who would it be? WWE, AEW, Impact, NJPW, and a celebrity/other.

A five-man team featuring the stars of five different promotions? How about from WWE, Brock Lesnar? AEW would be represented by MJF. Impact Wrestling? How about Matt Cardona? New Japan? How about KENTA? And my celebrity? Just to piss people off, David Arquette.

With Twitter possibly dying, what wrestler do you think has the best Twitter game?

Matt Cardona is great on Twitter and one of my favorites at trolling the marks is Disco Inferno.

If you could unite two titles from ANY promotion, in a match between the current holders of each, which two would you choose?

How about the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Championship with current Champions Heath & Rhyno taking on AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed? A contrast of styles to be sure, but the energy both teams put forth, plus the promos would make it a must-see contest. Just imagine the rap that The Acclaimed could do about Heath and his kids. Epic!

Marry, Fuck, Kill: Steve Austin, John Cena, And Roman Reigns. Who you got?

I didn’t expect this classic variation of this question, but what the hell? I’ll answer any wrestling-related question here and nothing is off-limits so I’ll do this one too. Marry would be Roman since he seems to be the most real and down-to-earth, likable one of this trio. Fuck? Cena because maybe I could get him to do the Peacemaker dance in the process. Also, he’s arrogant and cocky and from experience, I know that guys like that can be fun in the sack. And kill? Austin because he’s known to have a temper and would probably end up whooping my ass if I pissed him off, and believe me, I tend to piss people off. So as a matter of self-preservation, he dies. Damn, what a question. Oy vey!

Thoughts on Iceman Parsons?

I remember him from his early days in Crockett and this kid was impressive. He showed a lot of charisma and potential and was getting better with every match. And then he went to Texas and then to Memphis and his career just took off. I remember the feud with the Freebirds where he was teaming with Buddy Roberts and if I recall correctly, was known as “The Blackbird!” And calling everyone in sight “Rooty-Poos”. Hillarious. A very underrated talent who never failed to entertain.

Greg Valentine versus Nikolai Volkoff. Who wins?

Just like a big old tree, Valentine would meticulously chop down Volkoff before getting the big win. It wouldn’t be pretty, but “The Hammer” would win every time.

What are your thoughts on “Wildfire” Tommy Rich?

Such an All-American babyface when he first started out, he earned the love of fans with his pretty boy looks and the never give up attitude. Rich wasn’t the greatest wrestler in the world, but he was believable. He was the guy next door and had that “it” factor. While he had his issues over the years and kind of fell from grace, he’s a cool dude and had a great run that stands out from the pack. A true wrestling icon.

Who will be the fifth woman on Bianca Belair’s team at War Games?

Due to her issues with Nikki Cross, I would go with Dana Brooke as the fifth woman for the War Games match at Survivor Series. It’s logical and makes sense.

Can Saraya (who hasn’t wrestled in about 5 years) beat Britt Baker realistically? I get that Saraya winning is the “feel good” story, but if she does, what does that say about Britt Baker? Is it worth it in the long run?

Well, they had their match at Full Gear and it looked good and very believable, and Saraya won. If Saraya is able to continue to compete at that level, it’s worth it because this match will be quickly forgotten as time moves on and it gives AEW another female who can actually work and wrestle. Britt doing the job doesn’t matter. She’s good enough to make people forget about that with one good promo. The key here is testing Saraya out to see if she’s there for the long run and based on that match at Full Gear, she is.

I’ve always loved a good power bomb. Who do you think has the best power bomb of all time? When I was a kid I would’ve said Sid Vicious, but now I gotta go with Wardlow.

Yeah, that sounds good. I agree. Wardlow has the best powerbomb. No arguments from me.

Booker T claims that “free agent” Nick Aldis is “past his prime”. Thoughts?

But in the same interview, Booker also admits that he hasn’t seen Aldis wrestle in several years and is only basing this argument on speculation from Aldis’s time in the NWA. So it’s basically Booker just talking to be talking and not saying anything that matters. Aldis is only 36 years old, hardly an old man by any standards. Booker is just making noise.

Do you think Akira Tozawa misses actually wrestling in serious matches?

I’m sure that he does miss it to a point, but getting good money to do comedy spots instead of taking heavy bumps, I’m sure that his body doesn’t.

Teddy Long was recently quoted as saying that Nick Aldis is the man that WWE should bring in to beat Roman. Thoughts?

Actually, I like that idea. Bring Aldis in, bring up his background as a two-time NWA World Champion, and have him issue a challenge to Roman. It would be a great match and have a “forbidden door” feel about it. And if Aldis wins, or hell, even if he just holds his own, you have an instant top guy and big name ready to go. Teddy is thinking outside the box and I love it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions are welcome and appreciated. Please no more “Marry, F*ck, Kill” questions though. That one was a little weird. But as for anything else, just bring it. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be safe, my friends. Watch for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
