Merry Christmas, my friends. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
Rhea Ripley fought Akira Tozawa in an Intergender Match on RAW Monday night. Would you like to see more intergender action in WWE?
If it’s booked properly and makes sense, then yeah, sure, let’s do it. Rhea is far more physically imposing than Tozawa and with some distractions and help from the rest of the Judgement Day, seeing her dominate and beat Tozawa makes sense and doesn’t insult our intelligence. If booked to make sense, like this match was, keep on keeping on. And if not, then forget about it. ‘Nuff said!
I know she’s just NJPW contracted at this point..but who do you think would be a good potential AEW crossover match for Sasha?
I think I already did this question, but the answer remains the same. If Sasha comes to AEW for any reason, being signed to the company or just for a one-off deal, Saraya, given their past history, is the logical choice for an opponent.
Ole Anderson and Wild Bull Curry versus The Young Bucks. Who wins?
Wild Bill Curry was legit tough and a crazy man with the bushiest eyebrows. Ole’s nickname is “Mean & Nasty” and he was a legit shooter. The Young Bucks are two gymnastic punks who like to do flips. Ole and Curry would destroy those kids.
Do you remember Van Hammer? Thoughts?
I remember Van Hammer from his days in WCW. He started off as the rock star character and then moved on to be known as Major Stash when he was with the Misfits In Action. A big guy with a great look whose skills were not quite up to par. The main thing I remember about Van Hammer is that he had a great look, but sucked in the ring.
Who should face Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania?
Austin Theory is the first name that comes to mind just to see an Austin versus Austin match. If Baron Corbin is still aligned with JBL, then a Corbin versus Austin match would be fun to see as well.
Enzo recently said that he would brutalize MJF in a promo battle. Thoughts?
It would be an interesting clash of promo styles to be sure and it wouldn’t be allowed on television due to language. MJF is damn good at the promos, especially for someone so young, but Enzo? He’s a bit over-reliant on the catchphrases, but there is no denying that talking is the one thing he does very well. If it was a short promo segment, MJF would probably have the best promo of the two, but if it went any length of time, and became a shoot, I’d have to put my money on Enzo, because he’s a Certified G… and you can’t teach that!
Chris Masters has been teasing a possible Royal Rumble appearance. Would you like to see Masters back in WWE for the Rumble?
I would love to see Masters back in the WWE at some point and the Rumble would be a great place to have him return. I want to see Masters versus Lashley in a battle of the full nelsons. The Master Lock versus The Hurt Lock. It would be epic.
Do you want to see Eva Marie return to WWE?
No, I would not like to see her return.
With Triple H in charge, is WWE now AEW with more money, audience, and history?
No, there’s a big difference. WWE is entertaining and professional while AEW is… well, it’s AEW. Comparing these two companies is like comparing oranges and strawberries. They’re both fruits, but that’s where the similarities end.
In a recent interview, Lana said that she’s sure that Rusev Day will make a return to the WWE at some point in the future. Would you like to see Rusev and “Rusev Day” back in WWE?
It doesn’t matter where Rusev/Miro is working. Every day is still Rusev Day to me. But I would like to see Miro back in WWE because then, we would actually get to see him wrestle and be used regularly. In AEW, that doesn’t seem to be happening and he’s just another guy lost in the shuffle.
And there you go. Another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A in the books. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, I’m out of here for now. I’ve got celery to dice and bread to break up. That Christmas dinner isn’t going to fix itself, you know. Take care and be well, my friends. Have a very Merry Christmas and I’ll see you at the matches.
Ubuntu!
