I have about ninety minutes to kill. Why not do another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A? Sounds like a plan to me. Let’s do this.

Is the WWE done? Have they booked themselves into a corner where unless they sell to a complete third party like Warner, Disney, or the Peacock they are screwed? If Vince stays in any capacity then they are finished, right?

WWE can always back out and say that the offers they received weren’t sufficient or just put the sale on hold if they choose to. Then they would just proceed with business as usual and there isn’t anything that anyone could do about it. The stock might drop a little bit, but the WWE would be fine and keep on keeping on. As for Vince, like it or not, he is the majority owner of the WWE and unless he passes away or the company sells, he’s not going anywhere. We’re stuck with him and WWE will be okay.

Which of the current wrestlers has the potential to become the next goat?

The names that come to mind for me are GUNTHER and Asuka. And Austin Theory is a person worth watching as well. The kid is good and getting better every match.

Where do you rank the Briscoes in the last 15 years of tag teams?

For the last fifteen years, I’d put them in the Top Ten. I can’t be any clearer than that because, except for their matches against FTR, I was never a fan of theirs. I didn’t watch ROH or get to see any of their matches so it’s hard to give them a fair rating. I have heard comments by many others who knew of them, watched their stuff, and whose opinions I respect so, with that in mind, I know they’re damn good.

Exactly when and why did the WWE just stop giving a fuck (caring šŸ˜‚) about proper tag teams and tag wrestling?

Vince McMahon has never been a big fan of tag team wrestling so when did the WWE stop caring? The day Vince took over and bought the company from his father.

There is talk in the WWE about bringing AOP and Paul Ellering back. Thoughts?

The Authors of Pain were a good, solid tag team with a lot of potentials, but being taken away from Paul Ellering when they came to the main roster, plus being booked by Vince, they didn’t stand a chance. It’d be interesting to see them back in the WWE, with Ellering at their side, and booked correctly. I would like to see it happen.

Don Muraco versus Samoa Joe. Who wins?

This would be a good match and a good contrast of styles. I’m a big fan of Muraco and he’s one helluva legendary wrestler, but I think the advantage and match would go to Samoa Joe.

Enzo Amore versus Juventud Guerrera. Who wins?

Enzo is always entertaining and a great character, but unless Big Cass decides to tag along and get involved, the only way this match would end would be with Enzo being taken down by “The Juice”. Juvi would win and take that trip to the pay window. And you can’t teach that!

AAA is bringing back Alberto Del Rio for some shows. Thoughts?

I don’t like it and think Del Rio is a piece of shit, but he is a name that will draw attention and Konnan thinks bringing him into AAA will help the company. It’s Konnan’s call and he knows what will and won’t work in AAA better than I do. I would never do it, but it is what it is. Oh well.

If you were an AEW superstar, what song would you select to be your theme song?

Either “Hello, Hooray” by Alice Cooper or “Dirty White Boy” by Foreigner. Either would work well for me.

Road Dogg recently said that Asuka should be the Roman Reigns of Women’s Wrestling. Agree or disagree?

I agree 100%. No one is ready for Asuka!

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. And with that, I’m out of here, my friends. Take care and be well. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
