What? Another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A? Absolutely! And why? Because I can. Let’s do this.
Who will be inducted into the HOF this year?
This is all purely speculation, but I’m thinking Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express, Ivan Koloff (finally), Victoria, Batista, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Harlem Heat, Ken Shamrock, and if they can figure out a way to get around the “not on TV clause”, William Regal.
The Steiner Brothers (yes, Scott too) have allegedly signed a Legend’s Deal with the WWE. Thoughts?
Good for them. Now we can get t-shirts, action figures, and plenty of cameos and appearances on WWE TV for Rick and Scott, plus they get a nice little check in their mailbox every month. It’s a win for both men, plus anyone who calls themselves a fan of the Steiner Brothers.
Do you think Pat McAfee will make his return to WWE by entering the Royal Rumble match?
As a wrestler in the match? I don’t think so, but that would be a fun and interesting way to do it. I think when Pat is back, he’ll just show up on Smackdown next to Michael Cole and jump right back into the announcing game as if he had never left.
Would you like to see Chris Jericho teaming up with Sammy or Daniel or both?
Why not both? Sammy doesn’t need the rub, but he and Jericho make a good tag team. Garcia can benefit from the rub and partnership and it makes him look like a bigger star as a result.
So, who do you think is greater in the annals of Wrestling History: Hollywood Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin?
If it hadn’t been for Hulkamania, we wouldn’t have had Vince so willing to take a chance on Stone Cold and Austin 3:16. I have to go with Hogan on this one.
Pick a winner. Both are in their prime. Superfly Snuka vs Mil Mascaras.
Mil does not job for anyone. His ego would never allow it. Remember, Mil is the man who eliminated himself from the Royal Rumble just so no one else could say that they eliminated them. So Snuka would dominate and look great, but Mil would be the one to take home the win.
Does Steve Lombardi, aka The Brooklyn Brawler, belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?
Based on how long he was a part of the WWE and the legacy he’s left behind, I would say absolutely. My vote says yes to the Brooklyn Brawler in the Hall of Fame.
Since the Usos & Roman have had definitive runs with their titles, when they lose them is it “new belt” time?
Sure, why not. New belts for new champions. Sounds like a plan to me.
Do you ever see Jungle Boy being a World Champion or is he one of those guys stuck in the mid-card forever?
Jungle Boy has the look and the “it factor”, but he’s lacking the size and promo skills. He’s going to have a great career, but so far as being a long-term World Champion goes, I just don’t see it.
Goldust or Dustin Rhodes?
Dustin is a great wrestler regardless of whatever character or name he uses, but he’s more fun to watch when he’s sporting the gold. I prefer him as Goldust.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
Ubuntu!
