It’s the start of what will seemingly be a very busy day. And what better way to start than with a little wrestling Q&A? It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A and it all starts right now. More boogie-woogie than Jimmy Valiant on a Saturday night. Let’s do this.

Tamina Snuka says that she doesn’t think anyone could handle her teaming with Nia Jax. Thoughts?

To be honest, the thought of a Tamina/Nia tag team isn’t all that bad. Tamina is best in small doses as she’s not a strong singles wrestler. Nia also works best in tag team matches as she’s able to be presented as a monster, but has fewer chances of hurting anyone by wrestling for a long match. I can easily see a tag team tribute to the original Wild Samoans by these two women and it would work well in my opinion, to build both women’s credibility, and be entertaining. Find a Captain Lou styles manager for Tamina & Nia, maybe Robert Stone from NXT, and let them run wild as the new Samoans. Just think about it with a match of Rousey & Baszler versus Nia & Tamina. I’d like to see that happen. So Nia and Tamina as a tag team? Works for me.

WWE IC Champion, Gunther says his face-off with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble proved that fans want to see a match between them. Is he right?

He’s right. A Brock/Gunther match would be full of brutality, slapping man meat all around the arena, and several dozen “this is awesome” and “holy shit!” chants. Hopefully, we’ll get to see this match sooner rather than later. It would be a good one.

Kenny Omega’s contract is allegedly up with AEW very soon, but time has been added due to the time he was out for injuries. Do you think Omega will stay with AEW or go to WWE or back to New Japan?

He’ll probably go with the money and whoever offers the biggest contract. I can see WWE offering more money just to spite Tony Khan and it would be interesting to see if Omega can work under the WWE system and be the wrestler that everyone claims he is, but we rarely see in AEW. If I was him, I’d do WWE.

The Dynamic Duo, Chris Adams & Gino Hernandez, with Gary Hart versus The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) w/ Jim Cornette. Who wins?

This would be an incredible match with the top-heel team of World Class Championship Wrestling from that era versus arguably the greatest tag team of all time who isn’t named Anderson. Just imagine the promos between Hart and Cornette. It really wouldn’t matter who wins the match in the ring because the fans would be the real winners for this one just by seeing it happen. But if I had to pick a winner, you already know I’m going with Cornette and the Midnights because that’s how I roll.

WWE needs to bring back the Slammy awards, and give Sami a bunch of them. Just so we can call him Slammy Sami. Thoughts?

While I can see the humor in that, I would hope that if we ever have the Slammy Awards again, there is more to it than just that. Otherwise, just no.

The hairstyle of Karrion Kross does not match his character on screen. Agree or disagree?

I have to agree. Before, with the short hair and NXT look, he looked creepy and intimidating. Now, with the hair grown out, he just comes across, at least to me, as an accountant with a hot wife who had a mid-life crisis. There is no mystery or intimidation. He’s still good in the ring and the promos are good too, but the look doesn’t fit the character, at least not in my eyes.

The Enforcers (Arn Anderson & Larry Zbyszko) versus FTR. Who wins?

FTR would win after Larry stalls for twenty-three minutes and gets distracted yelling at one of the announcers at ringside. He would be distracted and Dax would catch him off guard with the most devastating move in all of pro wrestling, at least according to Simon Miller, the surprise roll-up. FTR wins.

I’ve always wondered why Arn Anderson never made a serious world title run. I think he would’ve been a helluva world champ.

Arn would have been excellent in that role. I agree with you, but it was a different time and different era and Arn’s position on the roster was not as “the top guy”. He was a strong supporting character who had an important role as “The Enforcer” for the Horsemen and to make others look better as they were built up towards different roles in the company. Arn was solid and reliable, but not flashy enough compared to wrestlers like Flair, Sting, Hogan, etc. To put it another way, Arn was the “Joey” from Friends for pro wrestling. He was a solid and important member of the cast, but remember what happened when Friends ended and Joey got his own show? It bombed big time and pretty much sucked. Arn as the world champion most likely would have gone the same way.

What’s happened to the Mogul Affiliates’ story in AEW? It seems to have vanished.

I have no idea what has happened to that story, but to be honest, I don’t care. Swerve Strickland and music icon Rick Ross got the big hype for a couple of weeks and then just kind of vanished, as is very apt to happen in AEW with no explanation or reasons given. It was there and then it wasn’t. It might be back next week or hell, it may never be mentioned again except as a trivia question or a “What if?” question a few years from now. Just more Tony Khan’s short-term booking with no idea what to do next or planning. Nothing more and nothing to see here. Please disperse.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and very appreciated. And with that, it’s time to wrap this up and put the baby to bed. Take care and be well, my friends. Stay safe and watch out for foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches.
