It’s that time and I know I’m not the only one. Pimping ain’t easy. Let’s talk about the King of Sports with the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place in Saudi Arabia. Is that an issue for you? Thoughts?

The location for the tournaments as being in Saudi Arabia isn’t an issue for me at all. The WWE is committed to the Saudi events and if they want to bring back these tournaments, they have to do it somewhere. I’ll be watching on Peacock and pulling for a potential King Dom.

Madusa allegedly approached Rhea Ripley at RAW XXX and they spoke about a retirement match for Madusa versus Rhea. Would you like to see these two women wrestle?

If this was Madusa from ten or fifteen years ago, absolutely. As for now, I guess so. Just Madusa some time to get ready physically and it could still be a fun match. Let’s hope WWE makes it happen.

Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) versus CM Punk & Mark Henry. Who wins?

I know who I’d rather see win and that’s Punk and Henry. But being realistic about who was the better team and would have better chemistry in the ring, I think we’d see Booker T & Stevie Ray end up getting the nod here.

Matt Hardy recently said that he feels that Tony Khan should focus more on storytelling and characters. Agree or disagree?

Matt is 100% correct here. Big matches and lots of action are good to a point, but it only goes so far. Interesting characters and strong stories are what will draw the fans in and keep them coming back. Those great matches need to have a reason for being and that’s where the personalities and characters matter so much. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to be DELETED!

FTR, who have been sitting at home trying to determine their futures, have allegedly told Tony Khan that they’ll keep working until their contracts expire. Is this leading up to something? Thoughts?

I think it’s leading up to more matches for FTR and, based on their actions at the end of the AEW Revolution PPV, a feud with the Gunn Club and potentially another run with the AEW Tag Team Championship. I think that FTR is open to staying with AEW when their contracts come up and this is a good-faith experiment between the team and Tony Khan to explore the possibilities for what may lie ahead.

Jimmy Snuka, Crusher Blackwell, and Bam Bam Bigelow versus Harley Race, Vader, and Ox Baker. Who wins?

Nothing against Blackwell and Bigelow, who were two very tough dudes and are legends in their own right, but they’re fighting a team that has Harley Race, Vader, and Ox Baker. Harley and friends win.

Bill Goldberg says “they owe me one” regarding the WWE and a possible retirement match. Who would you like to see Goldberg wrestle in his retirement match?

If Bill Goldberg was to return to the WWE for one final “retirement” match, I guess a good opponent for him would be Gillberg. It’s the match that has needed to happen for the past twenty years and would be fun to see. But if that’s not possible and you want a serious answer, it’d have to be someone who is credible and has a powerful name, but it wouldn’t matter one way or the other if they win, lose, or whatever. How about Omos?

Allegedly, Vince McMahon is the one responsible for Brock Lesnar versus Omos at Wrestlemania and pushed heavily for the match. Thoughts?

In recent days, word has come out that this match is because of Brock Lesnar, who didn’t want to wrestle Bray Wyatt at Mania and chose Omos instead. So it’s not Vince’s fault after all. The blame goes all to Brock instead. And it will be okay. A quick Brock squash with an F-5 after about five minutes. I’m not a big fan of this match, but it could be worse.

Tommy Rich, Jerry Lawler & Bob Backlund versus Chris Masters, Kevin Owens & Eddie Kingston. Who wins?

My money would be on Masters, Owens, and Kingston for this one. As much as I love Tommy Rich as a person, he’s easily the weakest link in this match and would end up eating the fall.

With Rey and Dominik a possibility at Mania, what father/son match would you want to see most? I’m going with Kurt Angle versus Jason Jordan.

A father versus son match with both men in their prime and squaring off in that squared circle? How about Irwin R. Shyster (Mike Rotundo) versus Bray Wyatt? Or maybe Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas, the B-Team versus Mr. Perfect & Blackjack Mulligan? Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. versus Randy Orton? There are so many multigenerational performers in WWE and pro wrestling right now, the possibilities are endless.

And there you go. It’s time to wrap things up. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Take care and be well my friends, and I’ll see you at the matches.
