Happy Mother’s Day. And for all the Moms out there, and everyone else, here is my gift to you, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

If an all-women’s promotion were to start in the West, who would you want to spearhead the booking, who would you want to be the top stars from any promotion, and do you think it would catch on?

To handle the booking, I’d want someone who knows wrestling and respects the Women wrestlers. How about a team of Fit Finley, Arn Anderson, and Madusa, led by Dutch Mantell? An experienced booker in Dutch, plus three veterans who helped start and build the Women’s division of the WWE. Tyson Kidd would be a great addition to the booking team as well. My top stars would be any female that I think has talent, and charisma, and could be a major asset to the company such as Charlotte, Asuka, Tessa Blanchard, Sara Del Ray, Natalya, Alicia Fox, etc. And would it catch on? If the wrestling and stories are good, they will come. ‘Nuff said!

If you were bestowed the honor to book how Roman loses his title, how would you go about doing it?

A major feud and series of matches against Gunther, building to a main event Cage Match at SummerSlam with Gunther getting a very hard-fought victory to win the championship.

What current wrestlers would you like to see in managerial roles in the future, if any?

If Bobby Roode isn’t able to return to in-ring competition after his recent neck-fusion surgery, a managerial role would work well for him in my opinion. James Ellsworth would make a great, slimy heel manager for the WWE Women’s Division. Xavier Woods would be great in that role as well.

Who is an AEW talent that you think doesn’t get enough attention?

The first name that popped into my head for this is Brian Pillman Jr. Very underrated and should be among the top of the AEW mid-card talent. Aaron Solo is another who deserves far more than he’s currently getting with AEW.

Do you think Jeff Jarrett should win one in AEW? if so, which title should he win and who would you like to see him beat for it?

I don’t think that Jeff should be winning any singles titles in AEW at this point in his career. He’s a great performer and can be used to put over the current champions with some great matches and feuds, but I just don’t see Jeff as a top singles guy anymore. Regarding the tag team belts though, I can see Jeff holding those titles at some point. Jeff & Sonjay as transitional champions once FTR is ready to drop the titles could work for me.

Rick Steamboat & Jay Youngblood versus FTR. Who wins?

Steamboat and Youngblood were 5-time NWA World Tag Team Champions and have had the opportunity to see them wrestle live many times, I can verify that they were damn good and could go with anyone and make it look great, much like FTR does now, to be honest. This would be a classic match and so much fun to see. I think FTR is the more polished team with the tags and double teams, but Steamboat & Youngblood would win at the end of the night.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez said recently in an interview that they want to wrestle Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion. Thoughts?

No! Just no! I don’t want to see Cardi & Megan and their WAPs on my TV screen when I’m watching wrestling. I don’t want to see them at all… ever. I like Raquel & Liv, but they should stick to wrestling talented women who mean something and not talking about those two over-rated clowns.

Thoughts on Tito Santana?

A talented wrestler with some great moves who was ahead of his time and always gave 1000% in that ring. Tito wasn’t the most charismatic of performers and he had some groan-worthy gimmicks over the years but despite the blatant stereotyping by Vince McMahon and WWF, Tito did his job and had a great career in the process. One of the best of his era. ‘Nuff said!

Chief Jay Strongbow versus Gunther. Who wins?

The fake Indian with his poor-man Wahoo imitation or The Ring General with those chops that tend to peel the skin off of chests. Gunther wins and wins easily, as he should.

How upset do you think Vince will be if AEW sells over 93,173 tickets for this Wembley show?

To be honest, I don’t think Vince would give a damn or care. Triple H though might get a little annoyed and motivated at first, but he’d just use it as motivation and then, whatever number AEW managed to get at Wembley, WWE would top it at the next Wrestlemania or PLE in Europe. HHH would see it as a challenge and say, “Hold my water. Let’s show Tony how it’s done!”.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, it’s time to wrap it up for now. Stay good and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
