It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

Who would win in a fight, Joe Biden or Donald Trump?

Politics aside, this would not be a fair fight. Biden is stiff and can barely move more often than not. Trump has a big size advantage in both height and weight and while his endurance might be suspect, if he could manage to get hold of Biden to restrain him, it would be all Trump. If they were both younger, it might be another story, but I’m looking at it as how they both are right now and Trump is more mobile and has all the advantages. Trump would win.

Dave “Fit” Finlay versus GUNTHER. Who wins?

What a fight and brawl this would be. Finlay is as tough as they come and if I was in a bar fight in downtown Dublin, he’s the man I’d want by my side. But in a wrestling ring, my gut says GUNTHER. So there you go.

Kenny Omega is being advertised to return on Dynamite next week. So does he join the Elite or stick up for Tony Khan?

I think Kenny will try to be the voice of reason and attempt to make peace, giving The Elite a chance to explain themselves and preventing Tony from firing everyone, thus fixing that big hole in the storyline logic. After that happens, The Bucks and the other MVPs will “attack” Kenny and he’ll end up a solid member of Team Tony.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, England, has publicly stated that he wants London to host WrestleMania. Thoughts?

Who is this Sadiq Khan? Is he on Tony’s side of the family or Nick’s? I think that he and Triple H will have a talk and we’ll see a major PPV event in London, maybe at Wembley, within the next year or so. I don’t see it being Wrestlemania, but maybe SummerSlam or a special event like a Super Show or One Night Stand event, along with a live RAW or Smackdown.

Where would Precious Paul Ellering rank in your list of professional wrestling managers?

While I have much respect for Ellering and his work in the past, especially with the Road Warriors and the Legion of Doom faction in the old Georgia NWA territory, he’s never really been a huge favorite of mine. He’s excellent at what he brings to the table and is a true legend, but he probably wouldn’t break my Top 10 so far as wrestling managers go.

NXT star Guru Raaj has been moved to the Alumni section on the WWE.com website and is no longer listed as part of the active roster. Thoughts?

Who? I had to look up the name because I honestly couldn’t remember Raaj. I guess this means that Raaj is being released from their contract or possibly already has been released. Aside from that, I don’t have any other thoughts on this topic.

AEW Dynamite did the Elite attacks Tony Khan angle last night and the overnight ratings were 683,000, the lowest since January 2021. Thoughts?

People are getting tired of stupid and tuning out. Bad bookings, bad stories, and just plain dumb stuff are making even the most diehard fans take notice that the current AEW product is just not good. The numbers are showing this every week and getting worse. AEW has some major issues and needs a strong fix. It’s just that simple.

Grizzled Young Veterans are coming to AEW and they will be making their debut on Collision this coming Saturday! Are you excited about this?

The GYV are a good and solid team, but I can’t see them making the slightest difference in AEW in any way that matters. It’s just two more guys that AEW won’t know how to use. At least they’ll be getting a paycheck out of the deal, but no, I’m not excited. I can already see the writing on the wall and there is no reason to be.

Swerve Strickland is the new AEW World Champion, but on Dynamite, he was given no promo time, no celebration, didn’t open or close the show, and had just a random match. Should he be pissed?

He was essentially buried as all of the build and push went to Jon Moxley and the IWGP Championship plus that horrific Elite/Tony Khan segment. I don’t know about pissed, but Swerve probably isn’t happy.

The Undertaker versus The Ultimate Warrior. Who wins?

The Warrior would run out of gas in about five minutes and then the Dead Man would take over and win. Warrior would RIP!

Who was the best female wrestling manager?

The only real managers who just happened to be women that I can think of would be Woman, Sherri Martel, and Alexandria York from WCW. Most of the other women, such as Baby Doll, Missy Hyatt, etc., were more valets than anything else. I think it comes down between Woman and Sherri and this is a tough call because both were excellent in their roles, regardless of whatever wrestler they were paired with. This is like comparing Waylon Jennings to Alice Cooper for me. Both are better than everyone else in my opinion, but my choice depends on my mood and what I’m looking for in the moment. I think I have to go with Sherri on this one. She wasn’t called ‘Sensational’ for nothing, right?

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for sneak attacks in the parking lot and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
