I’m Doug, your resident Guiding Light and Party Host. And this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Do you have questions? I have the answers. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

What do you think was the ‘bigger’ moment, an uncensored ‘fuck’ on WWE TV (and then being shared on their socials) or Cena?

The big “Fuck!” was wild and unexpected, but it’s just a lead into the big story, which is the heel turn of John Cena.

Are we sure John Cena is retiring? Heels can lie.

That’s a good point. If Cena doesn’t retire at the end of the year and decides to do a few more matches, now they have an out and a reason to continue. Good call.

So, how about a Stephanie McMahon/Pat McAfee podcast?

I’m sure Stephanie has been and probably will be a guest on McAfee’s show at some point. If you’re talking about a shared podcast where they’re the co-hosts, that would never work. Between ESPN, his show, and RAW, I don’t think Pat has the time for another full-time job.

JBL recently stated that he’d be interested in returning to WWE as a commentator, but they already have people who do it better than him. Thoughts?

He’s probably right. At this point, JBL would be good for the Kickoff shows at the PLEs, and maybe the occasional fill-in job if someone, like McAfee, needs a night off. But for a full-time gig as a commentator, WWE doesn’t really need him anymore.

John Cena should squash R-Truth on the road to WrestleMania. Yes or no?

If we don’t get a confrontation and match between R-Truth and John Cena at some point, we riot! ‘Nuff said!

Outlaw Ron Bass versus Hangman Adam Page. Who wins?

Page is AEW’s flavor of the month, but Bass was the real deal when he wanted to be. Ron Bass would win.

Do you believe CM Punk and Seth Rollins should settle their rivalry inside the ring at WrestleMania 41?

It looks as if that might be the plan, with Roman Reigns thrown in for good measure. Yeah, I’d like to see it. Works for me.

Do you want to see another Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens match or is it finally time to move on?

Sami and KO have great chemistry and their relationship, be it as partners or foes, will never truly end. But for now, it’s time to take a break while Sami recovers from his “injuries” and Kevin moves on to Randy Orton.

What match do you think deserves to be the main event, WrestleMania 41, on nights one and two?

I’d need to see the final card to make a definite decision, but based on the rumored matches, I’d have Night One main event Seth Rollins versus Roman Reigns versus CM Punk, with the winner being inserted into the main event the next night. And for Night Two, Cody versus Cena versus the winner of the Punk/Roman/Seth match from the night before.

What are your thoughts on Travis Scott being involved in a high-profile WWE feud? Is he getting the Dennis Rodman rub?

Why is WWE wasting their time with this guy? At least Rodman was a legitimate athlete and entertainer. Scott is just a pothead rapper caught up in illusions of grandeur. He’s not a believable athlete and I can’t see him being successful in the WWE ring.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
