Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

If you had a wrestling book that was passionate and insightful, which wrestler would you want to narrate the audio version of the book?

Someone who is well-spoken, articulate, and would be good at narrating the words that came from my head? How about William Regal?

Peak for peak, who’s better? Seth Or Triple H.

Both are solid performers and have had stellar careers inside that ring, so this is a tough call. My gut says Seth, so let’s go with Seth for this one.

If you were going to book a women’s best-of-7 series, who would it be, and why?

I’d pick the two most talented in-ring performers currently wrestling, with the biggest characters to keep the fans coming back. How about Mami versus The Man? Rhea Ripley versus Becky Lynch.

How well do you think Tony Khan and Triple H could book their respective companies if their rosters just totally switched one day?

AEW has some very talented people on the roster, so I think Triple H could do well with that group, and after a feeling-out process, would thrive. I think Tony would do well at first. Lots of new toys to play with and we’d see big match after big match, like the Attitude Era on Steriods. But once the new fades, things would slow down and Tony would go into repeat mode, much like AEW is going right now. At the start though, I think both would do very well. Keeping it up would be the hard part.

Rey Mysterio recently spoke about how his retirement is near. Who would Rey’s last match be against and why?

My first thought was obviously Dominik Mysterio, but I want Dom and Rey to reconcile at the very end. So, for a final match, which could also serve as the breaking point to turn Dom into a face, how about Finn Balor? Rey versus Finn would be a great match.

AJ Styles has allegedly signed a one-year contract extension with WWE. How much longer do you think AJ will be wrestling?

AJ is slowing down, but I think he has at least three years as a full-time wrestler left in him, or at least as a part-time special attraction. I like the idea of one-year extensions. AJ will know when it’s time and renewing yearly covers both him and WWE appropriately.

It’s been over two years since Tamina last wrestled on WWE TV, but she’s still listed as part of WWE and remains under contract. How would you bring Tamina back to WWE TV and use her?

It’s nice to have family, right? I’d bring her back and use her much like Heyman did with Madusa in the Dangerous Alliance, as the female muscle for Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. Why there hasn’t been a female member yet, I just don’t understand. And Tamina would be perfect.

If Macho Man Randy Savage was alive, what topics do you think he would cover on his podcast?

I don’t think Macho would have a podcast. I think, if he was still living, he’d do the occasional signing and maybe an acting role in Hollyweird every so often. Aside from that, he’d probably be a recluse, staying at home, and playing with the grandbabies.

Do you think WWE and Triple H should be doing more to consistently acknowledge Black History Month, Juneteenth, Pride, and other cultural milestones?

Black History Month, I would say yes. And WWE has always been good about paying homage. But Juneteenth and Pride? Nope. They’re not real holidays. If a wrestler wants to acknowledge, allow it, but WWE is a multi-national empire, and niche celebrations like Pride, should not be a huge priority.

What do you think? Could Mike Bailey actually stand a chance in a legit fight with Bobby Lashley, or is this pure fantasy?

Lashley has a background in the military, the Olympics, and MMA, and is a walking, breathing, real-life monster of a man. Mike Bailey is Mike Bailey. He wouldn’t stand a chance in a real fight.
