Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of Patriotic Wrestlers?

Kurt Angle, The Patriot (Del Wilkes), Sgt. Slaughter, and Chelsea Green.

What’s the difference between Creative Input and Creative Control?

Creative Input is where you make suggestions about your character, and the stories, but leave the final decisions to the Booker or Creative. Creative Control is when you look at an idea or story and say, “That’s not going to work for me, brother!”, and the company changes it.

Should the tag and trios be merged into “Teams” titles with the Freebird rule as default?

That would make things even more confusing than they already are. So, I would say no to that idea.

Why do you think WWE wrestlers rate The Miz so highly?

He’s good in the ring, on the mic, and in any role that he is asked to do. He is the ultimate team player And nobody gets hurt, but it still looks good. In other words, everyone rates Miz so highly because he’s… (wait for it)… AWESOME!

Who is your favorite luchador currently?

Currently, it would be El Grande Americano. He’s Lucha, right? Angel Garza is right up there too, as is Joaquin Phoenix.

Where would you rank AJ Styles on an all-time list?

What kind of list? Top ten? Top twenty? I’m not sure of what actual number I’d give him, but he’s solid, reliable, and one of the most consistent talents of the last two decades. He’s in the Top Twenty for sure.

How would you book Keith Lee’s return to the ring either AEW or WWE?

I probably wouldn’t. Lee has never done much for me and I don’t see him as a big star. But a return? Have a champion, maybe Moxley cut a promo in the ring and demand a fight. Keith Lee walks out and it’s on. And there you go.

If there were AEW Women’s tag belts, who would be the first champs?

Does AEW even have any regular female tag teams? Let’s go with Tay Melo and Anna Jay.

What is your ideal 6-month booking of Darby Allin once he returns?

He returns. He wrestles matches. He challenges for a title. He wins. He wrestles some more. And he does stupid stunts every so often to keep the Lunatic Fringe happy.

Are there any other veteran wrestlers that you’d like to see have a Sting-type run in AEW?

Of wrestlers who are already a part of AEW, I’d say, Jeff Jarrett, Christian, and Billy Gunn. Of wrestlers who are not currently a part of AEW, but would add to the product, I’d suggest Joe Hennig (Curtis Axel), Missy Hyatt, and Disco Inferno.
