Thoughts & Predictions

Coming up on Sunday, from Lowell, MA, it’s TNA Bound for Glory 2025. Are you ready for a few predictions?
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship
The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) (c) vs. The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) (with The Personal Concierge).
News broke a few days ago that the contracts of the IInspiration will expire shortly after this event, but the word is they want to stay with TNA, so I guess this is the big test. Heather and M, the Elegance Brand, just lost their leader, Ash by Elegance, at the last PPV, when she vacated the Knockouts Championship and announced her retirement. That being said, they can’t be at the top of their game. I think Cassie and Jessie will retain.
Winners and STILL TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions: The IInspiration.
TNA X-Division Championship
Leon Slater (c) vs. Je’Von Evans.
The TNA versus NXT wars continue, and this one is for the X-Division Championship. It should be a good match. I’m kind of torn on this one because these two remind me of each other so much, and both have been on a roll lately. Are we ready for another NXT guy to hold TNA gold? Nah, I don’t think so.
Winner and STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Leon Slater.
Call Your Shot Gauntlet 20-person Intergender Call Your Shot Gauntlet:
The winner receives a trophy and a contract they can invoke anytime within one year for a championship match of their choosing.
I have no idea who’s in this match, but I’ll assume it’s everyone who’s not already featured in a match, plus a few NXT talents mixed in for good measure. Let’s just make a random pick. Sami Callihan, despite recently retiring, has indicated he wants to be in this match. He probably will be, but he won’t win. Let’s go with Eric Young.
Winner: Eric Young.
Tessa Blanchard vs. Gia Miller.
I’m trying to remember who Gia Miller is, but I’m drawing a blank. I’m glad to see Tessa back. Tessa plays dirty and gets the win.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard.
TNA International Championship
Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Steve Maclin.
Does Maclin get his belt back, or will Frankie keep surprising the critics and keep the gold? I expect a good match, but I don’t think we’ll be seeing a title switch here.
Winner and STILL TNA International Champion: Frankie Kazarian.
10-person intergender Hardcore War
The System (Moose, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, and JDC) vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent 0, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler).
Mustafa Ali lost a great match last week at NXT versus TNA: Showdown. He needs to get his groove back. Look for Order 4 to take home the victory.
Winners: Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent 0, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler).
TNA Knockouts World Championship
Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Indi Hartwell.
NXT star Kelani Jordan is the Knockouts Champion, and she led the TNA Women to a huge loss to her counterparts from NXT. She was the team captain, and they lost. The women of TNA aren’t happy with her and will be looking for retribution. And who from NXT is going to have her back now? The odds are stacked against her, and it doesn’t look good. Is Indo the one who will get the job accomplished? Nah, I don’t think so. It’ll be close, but no cigar. Insert Monica Lewinsky joke here. The champ retains.
Winner and STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Kelani Jordan.
“One Final Table”: TNA World Tag Team Championship & NXT Tag Team Championship.
The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) (c) vs. Team 3D (Bully Ray and Devon).
The match will be brutal and fun. That being said, I can’t see Devon’s health being there for a sustained title run. The Hardys will find a way, and we’ll see Bully & Devon getting up close and personal with some furniture.
Winners and STILL TNA/NXT Tag Team Champions: Matt & Jeff, The Hardys.
TNA World Championship
Trick Williams (c) vs. Mike Santana.
TNA Champion, who’s a member of the NXT roster, walked out on NXT and Ricky Saints, costing NXT the match at ShowDown. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but I think it will be coming in hot and heavy on Sunday night at Bound for Glory. Look for someone from NXT, probably a guy named Ricky, getting involved and costing Williams the title. I think TNA is getting its title back.
Winner and NEW TNA World Champion: Mike Santana.
And there you go, with my predictions. So, what are yours? Let me know in the comments, along with any other thoughts, ideas, questions, or topics of conversation. Thanks for reading, and I do appreciate the support. I’ll see you at the matches.
